JVC demos first projectors to display 4K resolution

JVC is demonstrating its 4K home theater projectors at CES 2012, which we first saw back in December. The projectors are being touted as the first to display 2D HD content with full 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels or about four times that of full HD. Pico projectors are all the rage, but if you need some premium functionality in a package that's more luggabble than pocketable, Panasonic's got your back with a trio of new models. The PT-LW25HU, PT-LX30HU and PT-LX26HU projectors (catchy!) weigh in at a scant 6.6 pounds each, with dimensions that are just barely bigger than a college textbook at 13.7 by 4.1 by 9.7 inches. Velocity Micro outs Shine Projector and ICS Tablets

Velocity Micro is out to grab some news ahead of the CES 2012 show kicking off this month. The company has unveiled a new DLP projector called the Shine. The little projector has 300 lumens of brightness and a native resolution of 1280 x 768. That means it supports 720p. The DLP chip is from TI and the projector has 1.4:1 throw ratio. Emirai dashboard interface concept by Mitsubishi debuts

Mitsubishi has its fingers into a lot more than just making cars. That line of automobiles is probably what Mitsubishi is most known for though. The company has unveiled a new concept dashboard system for cars called emirai. The concept looks really cool and reminds me of the dash from a Star Trek shuttle craft. RED 4K projector gets first public demo
