CTIA 2012 Chairman promises spectrum expansion for all

This year at CTIA, the FCC is heading up the CTIA event with commitments to sustainability through both the FCC CEO and the newest CTIA chairman Patrick Riordan of CellCom. Speaking at the first keynote of the event, Riordan noted that The Wireless Association would be bringing forth a renewed dedication to protecting against cyber attacks and would be attempting to inspire innovation and enhance productivity in all things wireless. Samsung Galaxy S III Event Wrap-Up

Today has had so much Samsung Galaxy S III event news that your head must be spinning – allow me to screw it back on for you with a wrap-up. Here we’ve got the newest smartphone from Samsung, their new hero with a quad-core processor made by Samsung themselves, an Exynos, with a 4.8-inch display up front of the device and a plastic back. My CES 2012

There’s no larger an event the entire year round for tech bloggers such as I, and at the moment, there’s no bigger trade show for Consumer Electronics than CES – this being my first full year attending the events inside and surrounding CES 2012, I thought I’d give you a bit of a look inside what it means to be on the publisher’s side of this monster storm of keynotes, meetings, and floor time. Apple planning media event in NYC late January

It's the biggest Google developer event of the year, Google IO, and it feels like we were just there, but next year's dates have been announced already! The 2012 Google IO event will be taking place on April 24th through the 25th and will be housed at the fabulous Moscone Center West in San Francisco, California. Heat! Samsung Google Android event set for October 19 in Hong Kong [Official]

Invites have been sent out to those considered worthy of attending what may well be the biggest event in the shared history of Samsung and Google, one taking place LIVE from Hong Kong, China. This event will almost certainly be showing off the newest Android operating system Ice Cream Sandwich working on a Samsung device either called the Nexus Prime or the Galaxy Nexus. One way or another, the 19th of October, Hong Kong (and the 18th of October, USA, for those that understand time zones,) will be the date of the big Samsung Unpacked event that was cancelled last week. HP Making of Elite Tour kicks off with PC Spin-Off reassurance [Video]

This week we’ve been invited by HP to participate in their very first Making of Elite Tour. This tour is one where we get to see many moments in the process between HP creating a device in their Elite line and getting it ready for store shelves. That said, it was pretty obvious right off the bat what the first question on everybody’s mind would be given the recent news HP had for the world regarding the very sector of HP that we were about to dive into. Public Relations head Mike Hockey knew the situation and gave us a once-over before the questions were even asked.
