Nintendo defends 3DS, it’s not dangerous it says

Nintendo gave an official warning not long ago that young children shouldn't play the 3DS for an extended period of time. The kids that could have their vision harmed are those age six and under. The reason for the risk is that the kid's eyes are still developing according to Nintendo. Nintendo has come back and noted that despite that warning and the fact that it will hurt sales of the 3DS, the product is not dangerous. Read The Full Story

Traditionally we don’t get to say things like quality photos and spy shots in the same sentence. Generally, when we get spy shots they are blurry and hazy to the point where you can hardly make out what you are seeing. As the story goes with this rash of spy shots of the Nintendo 3DS, a factory worker in China at the plant where they are being built stole one and took it home for a gadget porn shoot. For as long as content has been displayed on a screen, parents have been telling kids not too sit to close. To blink. Or maybe not stare so hard. All of this in hopes that maybe, just maybe, their child's vision wouldn't get messed up before life eventually degraded them naturally. It looks like Nintendo is going to go ahead and step forward and say that, for kids that are six years or younger at least, using the Nintendo 3DS for extended periods of time with the 3D turned all the way on is dangerous for your kid's eyes. Nintendo Adds 32 3DS Titles for Nintendo World 2011

While we all wait for an official price tag for the 3DS, which just went up for pre-order at GameStop, we'll have to tide ourselves over with the fact that, if you're going to be in Tokyo for Nintendo World 2011, you'll be able to get your hands on quite a few upcoming titles for Nintendo's 3DS portable gaming console. The mobile gaming market may not be as intense as the home console market, but there's obviously still a lot of money to be made within its reach. So there's no surprise that analysts would want to get their opinion out there about what's coming, and how they think it will affect the market as a whole. When it comes to Sony's PlayStation Portable 2, there's a lot of discussion about whether or not it will be a waste of time for Sony, or be a smash-hit. While Black Friday is over and done with, and we're knee-deep in the savings that come with Cyber Monday, it looks like Nintendo made a killing off the Black Friday week. A Week with the HTC HD7: Xbox LIVE & Final Thoughts

Right about this time is when I received the HTC HD7, unboxed it, and started playing with the Windows Phone 7-based device. I thought it was only fitting that I timed the final article in our week long look at the device around the same time I first got my hands on it. We started with the hardware, and then we took a look at the software. Lastly, we took a quick glance at the applications available for the device, both natively, carried-based, and third party. All in all, while there have been a few hiccups along the way, the HD7 has managed to not suck after a week of usage. But now, as we wrap it all up, we’re looking at arguably the biggest feature of the device: Xbox LIVE integration. So, is it everything I thought it would be? id Software Co-Founder Says iPad is More Powerful Than Wii

One of those people happens to be John Carmack, co-founder of id Software. That particular company just released a new title for the iPhone and iPad, called Rage HD.
