New Mewtwo revealed for Pokemon X and Y

Pokemon X and Y promise a lot of new changes coming to the Pokemon handheld series, but one of these new changes will bring a wave of nostalgia from the classic days of Pokemon. Nintendo and Game Freak have released a trailer and teasers for a new version of Mewtwo, name still pending (though some are dubbing it Newtwo and Mewthree). Nintendo 3DS XL Pikachu edition unveiled

Nintendo has announced that on March 24 it will be releasing a limited edition yellow Nintendo 3DS XL that features a cute outline of Pikachu on the back. The handset is being released the same day as the upcoming Pokemon video game for the 3DS, and Nintendo is offering a game for free to those who purchase both the special edition handset and the Pokemon game. Nintendo launches iOS Pokedex app in Japan

Pokéfans take note, because Nintendo has released a new Pokédex app and, of all platforms, it's on the iOS App Store. This is officially the company's first paid app to go live on the iOS App Store, which is a pretty big deal considering how much Nintendo likes to rail against the idea of smartphone gaming. PETA is no stranger to the video game world, and today it has a brand new flash game for concerned animal lovers to check out. Capitalizing on yesterday's release of Pokémon Black and White 2 to spread its message, the group has released Pokémon Black and Blue, in which users take on the role of abused Pokémon as they fight to free themselves from their trainers. We've arrived at another Friday evening, which means that the weekend lies ahead. Today, as many of you probably already know, was the one-year anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs. Apple paid tribute to Jobs in a new video released today, and it was announced that three modified MacBook Pros will be auctioned off in memory of Jobs. On the lighter side of things, Lenovo is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ThinkPad with a look back through time, and Samsung's profits for Q3 2013 managed to break company records (not an easy thing to do, considering how popular Samsung is).
