Olympus SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ super-zooms

Olympus have announced a pair of new super-zoom cameras, and if Fujifilm's FinePix HS10 thought it would have the 30x optical zoom market to itself, it should think again.  The Olympus SP-800UZ packs a 14-megapixel sensor and a 30x optical zoom, but still manages to be the "world's smallest" such snapper; meanwhile the SP-600UZ slots in underneath it, offering a more budget-friendly 12-megapixel sensor and 15x optical zoom. Olympus Stylus Tough 8010 and 6020 rugged digicams get tap-control

Someone warn Beyonce: Olympus' latest Stylus Tough digicams reckon they're the world's fiercest.  The new Olympus Stylus Tough-8010 and Stylus Tough-6020 each pack 14-megpixel sensors, 5x wide-angle optical zooms and 2.7-inch sunlight-visible LCD displays, but the real headline grabbing features are the shockproofing, waterproofing, crushproofing and freezeproofing.  Unlike Beyonce (we're guessing), the two point-and-shoots can withstand 220 pounds of direct pressure. Fujifilm FinePix 2010 digicam range outed

PMA 2010 is almost upon us, and Fujifilm are celebrating the annual photography expo by launching over a dozen new models in one fell swoop.  The cameras range from a sub-$100 12-megapixel point and shoot, the Fujifilm FinePix AV100, and climb all the way to the megazoom FinePix HS10 with 1080p, 1,000fps Super High Speed movie mode and $499.95 price tag.  More details after the cut.
