PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release date dropped

This week the folks at Sony have let it be known that the game PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, possible the biggest title for the console this year, will be popping up on October 23rd in the USA. This news also provides the dates for the majority of Europe, that being October 24th, and inside the UK, that being October 26th. This game is set to feature a litany of battle-ready characters from PlayStation-centric franchise games and will be Sony's great answer to the classic bash-festival that is Nintendo's Super Smash Bros., also set for a new version later this year. PlayStation Store disabled in South Korea pending new law

Blizzard has run into trouble in South Korea in the past with certain game content coming under scrutiny, but now it looks like Sony is the latest to tangle with the law. The company has had to take down the PlayStation Store in South Korea due to the new “Game Industry Promotion Act.” Starting from July 1st, it will be illegal for online services to ask those under the age of 18 to verify their account with a real name or date of birth. Sony unveils PlayStation Move Racing Wheel

Sony has taken to the PlayStation blog to unveil the Move Racing Wheel controller, designed for driving games like Little Big Planet Karting and Gran Turismo. PlayStation Mobile teams with HTC for mobile gaming greatness
