Sony Must Announce the PlayStation 4 ASAP

Earlier this week, reports surfaced suggesting Sony would be launching the PlayStation 4 next year. Almost immediately, Sony fans jumped for joy at the news, while Microsoft fans scoffed at the idea. And along the way, Sony hasn’t said for sure what might happen.

Even so, I’m here to tell you (and Sony) that the PlayStation 4 should launch as early as possible next year.

Sony may have confirmed that the PS4 next-gen console is in development, but the company isn’t so foolish as to announce any launch details for fear of cannibalizing PS3 sales. That hasn’t stopped the tattle-tales in Taiwan, of course, which inform DigiTimes that Sony is readying production though Foxconn and Pegatron at the end of 2011.

Sony does not agree with you. They've got a brand new model that's even thinner, even greener I daresay than the previous champion. This device goes by the code CECH-3000B, a Japanese version of the previously revealed CECH-3001B, this newest model featuring a tiny 200W power draw instead of 230W on the current smallest model PlayStation 3 gaming console. Codemasters Hacked, User Info Compromised

If you're a fan of British video game developing, you know exactly what Codemasters is. This is The Codemasters Software Company Limited, aka one of the oldest video game developer companies in the world, having in the last 10 years established themselves in the USA as well with games such as DiRT3. In an email to customers today, Codemasters have noted that they've had an unauthorized entry into their codemasters.com webpage that has subsequently made the company have to take the entire site offline. Though they did so in order to stop the intruders from accessing information from user accounts specifically, these hackers have done so anyway. Read The Full Story

Full restoration of Qriocity service starts today for all territories but Japan

Sony is still digging its way from under the aftermath of the breach of its PlayStation network. Much of the PSN is back online in most countries though some are still without service. Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Corp announced today that the full restoration of Qriocity service will be made today in all territories where the service operates except one. AT&T Announces Itself PlayStation Vita’s Sole Mobile Carrier

Playstation Suite brings Sony Playstation to Android and other Platforms

Sony revealed a lot of surprises at today's E3 2011. Sony PSP Remaster makes portable games PS3 playable

Sony has announced plans to launch the "PSP Remaster" series, titles originally intended for the PSP but reworked to play on the PS3. As well as boosting the graphics quality to better suit a big-screen gaming experience, Sony will enable cross-platform PSP and PS3 multi-player titles using a new "adhoc party for PlayStation Portable" application on the home console.
