That dinosaur game works in VR with Oculus Rift

ARK: Survival Evolved is announced to be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for PCs with Oculus Rift support. This game was first revealed in incognito mode earlier this month, and just this week was shown to the public with support for virtual reality headsets. Thus far Project Morpheus for PlayStation 4 and Oculus Rift by Oculus VR have been confirmed. Whether or not Valve's own Steam VR will work with the system is still up in the air. We're guessing that YES, it probably will work - and there'll be dragons, too!

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate gameplay trailer tells all pre-alpha release

Ubisoft releases the first trailer for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, a game based in London at the dawn of the modern era. This game has you playing as Jacob Frye (or his sister), fighting for justice "on behalf of London's enslaved working class." This game has everything - top hats, Big Ben, underground fight clubs, human skewers on assassin's blades. It's just the works. This game should also take what was with Assassin's Creed Unity and amp it up a level - up to 11. Up to the place where Tower Bridge was born.

“ARK: Survival Evolved” lets you ride a dinosaur in VR

The dinosaur-filled "ARK: Survival Evolved" MMO has been announced today with plans for virtual reality involvement on PlayStation 4. This game will be played from a first-person perspective and will have users walking around an ancient landscape with futuristic tools. You'll have "about 60 distinct species" of ancient Earth creature in "a real place that you can walk through, explore, and truly experience in your own way." This is the dinosaur age of video games starting in earnest. This is really happening, and it's happening on the PlayStation 4 with Project Morpheus, Xbox One, and Steam for both PC and Mac systems.

In the recent past there was a lot of excitement surrounding the playable trailer "P.T." and the promise of a new game called "Silent Hills". Everything about it was great right up until the moment when Konami decided to cancel the game and break a collective bunch of hearts. Joining the announcement was removal of the "P.T." trailer/game, meaning those who hadn't downloaded it were entirely out of luck. Many who had downloaded it did exactly what you'd expect: ran to eBay with their consoles, where their listings were promptly squashed.
