Plantronics have realised that not only do you have two ears but you like to use them; how else could you explain their latest Bluetooth hands-free headset, the Voyager 855, which ostensibly looks like a normal cellphone accessory but confuses things by adding a second earpiece on a detachable cord sprouting from the ear hook. Plantronics Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset

So Kevin Geter over at ChipChick got one of these headsets for review and put it through its paces. He loved it, the box apparently included the actual USB receiver, the stereo headphones, a lanyard, several earpieces for the headphones, a line out cable, a Quick Start Guide, and the AC charger. Your choices for positioning the Bluetooth receiver were a) use the attached [but removable] belt clip or, b) use the included lanyard and hang it around your neck. Plantronics weaves Bluetooth into Quiksilver & Roxy

CES 2007: Plantronics announces new Discovery 665 Bluetooth Headset

The new Discovery 665 Bluetooth headset featuring AudioIQ – the industry’s first DSP technology to optimize audio levels for you and the person you’re talking to. The AudioIQ clarifies incoming speech and reduces outgoing background noise by up to 50%. Another cool features include Plantronics’ new QuickPair technology, which simplifies the Bluetooth setup process for consumer by automatically initiating pairing mode (when powered) if no other device history is present. The headset is ready to go once it’s paired successfully; otherwise it shuts off after 10 minutes if the paring was unsuccessful. The packaging comes with a convenient charging and storage system targeted for use in the car. There are visual call indicator and low battery indicator.
