Dedicated PC gaming accessories manufacturer Razer has teamed up with Sixense to bring motion-sensing peripherals to PC gaming.  By means of a an electromagnetic field sent out from a transmitter, the two-controller set up is able to create a precise replication of on-screen movements.   Furthermore, the technology can also support gesture-based commands, and more remarkably can detect position in space along six axes. The results for Microsoft's pressure-sensitive keyboard competition are in, and there are some interesting uses for the prototype 'board.  The peripheral can track not only which keys are pressed but the force with which they're hit, and it's that which "Most Useful" first prize winner SafeLock takes advantage of; the password app not only matches up an eight-character code, but measures flight time, hold time, maximized pressure and a curve fit to measure pressure over time for each keypress. I have used lots of keyboards over the years and some of them have had very quiet and mushy feeling keys while some of them have been very tactile and clicky. Razer Announces New Tool for MMO Players

Over at Cologne, Germany, Gamescom is going strong, and companies like Razer are not letting the time slip by without some kind of announcement. In the case of Razer, they had a doozie lined up for this conference: a 17-key mouse, that looks like some kind of futuristic toy, which is called the Naga.
