KOTOR II gets patched after 10 years to support Mac, Linux

Joining the train of Star Wars-related games and media preparing the way for Episode VII later this year, PC RPG Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords received a massive patch. It's OK if you haven't heard of the game recently or at all, unless you've already been playing games or have been immersed in the Star Wars universe the last 10 years or so. The game was released back in 2005, making this its first ever patch in a decade. And it's a monumental one at that, bringing the game forward and to two new platforms.

Sources say WB knew Arkham Knight PC was horribly broken

The launch of Batman: Arkham Knight was a disaster, at least for PC owners. Now it might be even more of a PR disaster for publisher Warner Bros. Although the company issued an apology to owners and fans after pulling the game out of sales, it seems it might just be a well-worded cover up. Numerous sources, including the games' testers, are now saying that Warner Bros. was fully aware of the issues that the PC version faced, but decided to ship it at the same time anyway.

Batman: Arkham Night for PC pulled, critical issues cited

Games being delayed because of last minute showstoppers are nothing new. In fact, they have almost become expected. But games being suspended almost immediately after launch is definitely not a common occurrence. So when the PC version of a high profile, highly anticipated title like Batman: Arkham Knight gets pulled from shelves just days after its launch, you can bet that something is terribly wrong. And that is exactly what Warner Bros. Interactive is admitting to on Steam when it announced on Steam that it is halting PC sales until issues are ironed out.

Good news for Final Fantasy fans who are unfortunate enough not to have the latest gen consoles yet. However, the fact alone that it will be available on Steam is enough to send hearts aflutter, even if the launch date is still months away at the very best.

XCOM 2 announced, puts humans on the offensive

XCOM 2 announced, puts humans on the offensive

It's 20 years into the future, and humanity has lost. The alien invasion that we've tried so hard to prevent has taken place and now mankind is no longer the ruling species. All that stands in the way of total domination is a rag tag team of freedom fighters with limited resources and always on the move. That's the even darker scenario that is being painted in XCOM 2, Firaxis' sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown title, the award winning sci-fi game that blends strategy, tactics, X-Files, and and a whole lot of alien goo.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed, as dark as ever

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed, as dark as ever

While advancements in technology bring us closer to a future where technology and human life are brought closer than ever, the future that games like Deus Ex depict are nothing like the dreamy high tech utopia that tech companies paint. Instead, it is almost like Blade Runner-esque dystopia that magnifies the already existing divide between those who embrace technology whole heartedly, even into their bodies, and those who abhor the very notion. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided puts that schism under a microscope, in a medium that is easy to grasp by almost anyone.
