By cutting down on as much bezel as possible, which is exactly what Pantech has done with the Vega S5. IntoMobile has crunched the numbers, and thanks to a “Zero Bezel” technique Pantech has crammed a 5-inch 720p IPS screen into a chassis that occupies less space than Samsung’s Galaxy S III. Pantech Vega Racer 2 boasts 4.8-inch display, first ceramic body

Pantech has announced the Vega Racer 2, its new flagship LTE smartphone that sports some rather impressive specs. The handset will feature a large 4.8-inch touchscreen with 720p HD resolution and a dual-core 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor based on the Krait 28nm chip. Pantech Element lands at AT&T for $299.99 on contract

We went hands-on with the Pantech Element tablet back during CES, and it was an interesting little device. Pantech next to pay Microsoft over Android patents

Microsoft has successfully sought royalty payments from a number of Android device makers and the next company that will likely pay up is Pantech, South Korea's third largest handset manufacturer. Pantech Burst Hands-on

This week AT&T have revealed several new devices on their LTE network, notably a couple of Pantech devices that will be offered together - a tablet by the name of Element and a smartphone, which we've got here, by the name of Pantech Burst. The Burst has a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen at 480 x 800 pixel resolution, has a 5 megapicel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front - the back capable of 720p recording. This device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box, has 16GB of onboard memory with a microSD card slot for expansion by 32GB if you wish, and it feels pretty nice to hold, if I do say so myself. AT&T Pantech Element LTE slate leaks: $300 on January 8

AT&T is readying a new Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet for launch on January 8, the Pantech Element, according to new leaks, with a somewhat unusual 8-inch touchscreen. The 1.5GHz dual-core slate will include 4G LTE, according to BGR's source, as well as being splashproof to IP57 rating, as long as you've remembered to close all the port doors first. AT&T outs ATRIX 2, Samsung Captivate Glide and three more ‘Droids

AT&T has announced a full five new Android devices, the Motorola ATRIX 2, Samsung DoubleTime, Samsung Captivate Glide, Pantech Pocket and AT&T Avail, taking the carrier’s total ‘droid-powered count to 19 this year. The ATRIX 2 and the Captivate Glide are the two most interesting, each packing 4G HSPA+ for up to 21Mbps downloads (network depending) along with 1GHz dual-core processors, 8-megapixel cameras with LED flash and Full HD video recording, and a 4.3-inch qHD display on the Motorola while the Samsung makes do with 4-inches of WVGA Super AMOLED.

Pantech Vega LTE announced, company’s first superphone possible for USA

When it comes to Pantech here in the USA, we've not exactly seen the best of the crop for smartphones - all that may be about to change with the Pantech Vega LTE. This device has a 4.5-inch 1280 x 800 pixel resolution display, runs Android 2.3.x Gingerbread, and totes a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor of yet unknown origin. That's set to go up against the big guns, if I do say so myself. The device itself doesn't look that unlike a Galaxy S II, will be available in black or in white, and rumor has it, might be coming to the USA before too long. Read The Full Story
