Hot on the heels of the Panasonic HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 Full-HD camcorders announced yesterday come two more Full-HD models from the company.  The Panasonic HDC-TM350 and HDC-TM30 each have integrated flash storage and an SDHC card slot: 64GB in the TM350, and 32GB in the smaller TM30.

Panasonic have taken the wraps off of two Full-HD AVCHD camcorders, which it claims are the lightest of their kind.  The Panasonic HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 each have 16x optical zooms, optical image stabilization (OIS) and touchscreen controls, and record to SD/SDHC memory cards.  The Panasonic HDC-TM10 also has 8GB of its own internal storage.

Panasonic have confirmed more details regarding their plans to develop a 37-inch OLED TV, though it hasn’t been enough to prevent their Nikkei share price from sliding slightly.  The company revealed that it has been working with Sumitomo Chemical Co to develop the super-thin OLED panels, as well as other manufacturers whom Panasonic declined to name.

Laying to rest the rumors and gossip, Panasonic set the record straight this morning by releasing pricing details for their Lumix GH1 digital camera. The second Micro Four Thirds camera for the company, this camera is expected to cost $1,499.99 as a part of a kit.

Panasonic have revealed their plans to bring an OLED TV to market within the next 18-24 months.  The company has been working on extending OLED display lifespans, with a target figure of 50,000 hours (20,000 hours more than the current average); the first TV is expected to be a 37-inch model measuring just 1-inch thick, and developed in partnership with Toshiba.

amazon hd vodAmazon have announced the arrival of HD content through their Video on Demand service.  Leaked as in development last December, though denied at the time, the service goes live today with HD titles priced at between $3.99 and $4.99.  Compatible devices include Series3 TiVo DVRs, Roku’s Video Player, Sony’s BRAVIA Internet Link and Panasonic VIERACast HDTVs.

Panasonic added to their digital camera line up once again today by announcing three brand new Lumix cameras, specifically, the DMC-FS12, DMC-FS42 and DMC-FS62. All three of these cameras are fairly mainstream and mid-range in specs.

Panasonic announced two new iPod D-docks today, the SC-HC3 and the SC-HC4, both of which provide iPod owners with greater flexibility in their music listening. Plus, they are both slim and trim, making quite a techie fashion statement.
