Panasonic details 2011 VIERA LCD/LED TV line-up

Panasonic has announced pricing and availability for its 2011 VIERA HDTVs, with Full HD 3D, smart TV and direct iPod connectivity on select sets. The 3D models include the 37-inch Panasonic TC-L37DT30, at $1,299.95, and the 32-inch TC-L32DT30, at $1,199.95; both use IPS Alpha LED panels, have VIERA connect for streaming Netflix, Amazon VOD, CinemaNow, Hulu Plus, Pandora and other services, DLNA support and 240Hz. Panasonic pulls a slash and burn on Jungle gaming handheld

Remember that Panasonic Jungle handheld from last year that was supposedly already in testing in the US? No? Well, don’t feel bad the thing was destined to fail. Back in November Panasonic went so far as to send out emails to some geeks telling them they had been chosen to test the Jungle in the US. Leica denies Micro Four Thirds plans: M9 as small as it gets

Leica has denied rumors it intends to join the Micro Four Thirds ecosystem, despite reports in Europe that it was preparing to launch a mirrorless camera based on Panasonic's LUMIX models. "We have no information on anything like that at the moment" a Leica spokesperson told Amateur Photographer, going on to point out that "With the Leica M9 we have the most compact, full-format, mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses on the market." Panasonic VIERA kitchen TVs offer motion-control, Blu-ray and WiFi

Panasonic has outed a trio of new VIERA TVs, including one model with an integrated Blu-ray player, and another which can be gesture-controlled. The Panasonic VIERA DMP-BV300, DMP-HV200 and DMP-HV150 each have 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 displays, digital TV tuners and SD/SCHC/SDXC memory card slots, along with integrated ethernet for YouTube and DLNA streaming. Panasonic Releases New HD Cameras and Camcorders

Panasonic has just released two new HD mobile cameras (the HM-TA20, and TA2) , and three full-HD camcorders (HX WA10, HX-DC10 and HX-DC1). The TA20 camera is waterproof, shockproof and dustproof (which sounds great to me, with two small kids in my house), and has a night view mode for shooting in dim lighting. Panasonic’s first 3D LED TVs Debuting in 2011

In 2011, Panasonic's Viera TV line will include the brand's first 3D LED TVs. The DT30 series will include two TVs, the 32-inch TX-L37DT30, and the 37-inch TX-L37DT30. These panels will add mid-size TVs to the larger plasma TVs that Panasonic already offers. They will have IPS panels for a wide viewing angle, and the addition of improved motion response and Intelligent Frame Creation to produce cross-talk-free 3D images, according to Panasonic. Panasonic set to redesign some of its lenses

I have a Nikon DSLR and it has no image stabilization built-in. If you want or need stabilization, you have to buy lenses that have the feature integrated. There are some camera brands that have stabilization in the body, but mostly you need lenses with the feature integrated if you want to reduce blur with zoom or longer exposure times with lots of the DSLRs out there. Panasonic has outed pricing information for its 2011 camera range, including the much-anticipated LUMIX GF2. The Micro Four Thirds camera will drop in the US later this month - in a choice of black, silver, red or white - with a body-only price of $499.95.
