OUYA hits 10,000 developers worldwide
OUYA announced today that they have reached the 10,000-developer mark with their portable Android-powered gaming console. The console made its public debut at the Games Developer Conference last month, where it also began shipping to Kickstarter backers. During that time, OUYA had around 8,000 developers signed on.

What If Google Got Into the Console Market?
The console market has been the subject of much debate lately. Nintendo’s Wii U has inspired some fans, and disappointed many others. Still others have ignored the device. Meanwhile, Sony’s PlayStation 4 has the gaming world abuzz with promises of dramatically improved graphics. And with Microsoft expected to announce a new Xbox at some point in the next few months, gamers are more excited for what’s to come than they have been in years.

OUYA production goes full steam: shipping has begun!
As the OUYA Android gaming console hits the first tier partners and Kickstarter funders, the team behind production has made it clear that starting next week, they'll be building and shipping market-ready units 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With the standard OUYA unit, you'll be seeing a grey console and grey controller the manufacturing process will hit full steam, while Kickstarter exclusive units and units with more than one controller will be produced soon after standard production is up and running.

OUYA partners with MakerBot to bring DIY 3D-printed cases to gamers
OUYA gaming consoles may already be set to launch starting tomorrow, but that isn't stopping the company from adding more features. OUYA and MakerBot have announced a partnership that will see the release of the 3D design files for the console’s case. The template and the specs for the OUYA's case has been made readily available, which means that anyone with a MakerBot 3D printer will be able to make their own case for the gaming console.

Ouya online multiplayer to launch by end of the year
Julie Uhrman, the founder and CEO of Ouya, states that the gaming console will not support online multiplayer when it launches. She hopes that the the developers will be able to get the feature up and running by the end of the year. But fear not, local multiplayer will still be supported, so you'll be able to play side-by-side with your friends (presumably up to 3 of them). Uhrman hopes to bring back the era of "back-couch" game play.
