Onkyo have outed a range of new home A/V equipment that offers HDMI v1.4 connectivity and 3D video support.  The new line-up includes a pair of full-sized receivers, the TX-SA578 and the TX-SA608, a pair of mini-systems, the BASE-V30HDX and BASE-V20HDX, and a 2.1-channel sub/speaker system, the HTX-22HDX. Onkyo DE411 all-in-one: Full HD display & NVIDIA Ion

Onkyo have outed their latest all-in-one desktop, the DE411, a dual-core Intel Atom 330 1.6GHz nettop with a 21.5-inch 1080p Full HD display.  The Onkyo DE411 packs 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard-drive, but most importantly it has NVIDIA's GeForce 9400M - aka Ion - GPU for handling HD video. Onkyo PA-MC5500 Class AB 9 x 150-watt amp

New from Onkyo at CES 2010 was the PA-MC5500 multi-channel power amplifier, intended to accompany their PR-SC5507 9.2-channel AV network controller preamp processor. The PA-MC5500 has a matching 9-channels of amplification to the company’s flagship pre-pro, each capable of delivering 150W.

Onkyo BX 407A4 is rebadged, expensive UMID mbook M2

Alongside Onkyo's rebadge of the Kohjinsha dual-display netbook yesterday, the company also announced a smaller system that should be familiar to MID-trackers.  The Onkyo BX 407A4 is more recognizable as the UMID mbook M2, launched back in September, but while UMID couldn't quite tell us when the M2 would be on sale, Onkyo are already taking orders for the BX-Series. Onkyo DX-Series upgrade dual-display netbook with more pixels

We can't help but wonder whether Kohjinsha will be a little bit frustrated with Onkyo, who have rebranded the company's nifty dual-display netbook but actually one-up'd the original by slotting in higher resolution panels.  The Onkyo DX-Series has the same form-factor as the Kohjinsha DZ, which means a rotating pair of 10.1-inch LCD screens but the footprint of a regular netbook, only theirs uses two 1,366 x 768 panels rather than the original's 1024 x 600. Onkyo P305A3 Ion nettop with detachable DVD burner

We've seen removable optical drives on nettops before now - ViewSonic had one back in July - but Onkyo's offering is particularly curvy and pleasing.   The Onkyo P305A3 may not have a catchy name but it does offer an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor paired with an NVIDIA Ion graphics chipset, while the optical drive is detachable from the side. Onkyo TX-NR807 AV receiver with internet radio and DLNA streaming

Onkyo have dropped a new home AV receiver, the company's first such home theater product to include Pandora, Rhapsody, and Sirius streaming internet radio support.   The Onyko TX-NR807 supports DLNA 1.5 media streaming, for playback of media stored on networked computers and drives, together with offering six HDMI ports, Faroudja DCDi Cinema 1080p upscaling and both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 7.1-channel systems with ProLogic IIz support

Onkyo have announced a pair of new 7.1-channel home theater systems, offering a relatively straightforward way to add surround sound - including Dolby ProLogic IIz - and 1080p HD switching to a media setup.  The Onkyo HT-S7200 (shown here) and HT-S6200 have five and four HDMI 1.3a inputs, respectively, as well as the company's U-Port iPod charging/dock connector, and offer 130W per channel.   Read The Full Story
