Tandar – Interactive Monkey Pet with a USB tail

Tandar – Interactive Monkey Pet with a USB tail

Yes, it's furry, it talks, and it is a little bit scary - and it has a USB port on its tail. And it can also be a nightlight. It is the new Tandars Interactive Pet. Beware if you go to the website, you will need to get past a slowly blinking monkey and a talking tree. The Tandar Monkey uses the USB port to recharge, which takes about 15 minutes for quick playtime and 2 hours for a full charge (hint: do this while the kids are sleeping, or you will be in for a major fit).

What the heck is this thing? It's the Audi Auto Union Type C e-tron study, of course. It's got electric drive, a smooth sailing body, and plans on being released into the wild at the International Toy Fair this early February, just so long as it gets its wish.

Japan Losing Vending Machine Edge?

Japan Losing Vending Machine Edge?

Believe it or not, Japan was not the first country in the world to come up with the gold vending machine, the first of which was released early this week. Not a machine made of gold, but a machine that allows you to trade money for gold in a vending machine environment. Ron Paul would be proud, as the USA beat Japan to the punch by a month, while Germany and Abu Dhabi beat Japan by almost a year! As reporter Yoree Koh says, "It's enough to make you cry into your ramen."

Official Android Designer Toy Line Expanded by God of Wealth, Reviewed by Android Community

Android has become a big enough platform that they've got an official toy line. When you've got a toy line and an OS under the same brand, you know what you do? You send those toys into outer space with a Nexus S. Then since the brand is a global brand, you make an Asia exclusive Chinese New Year toy and you extend the power of your brand by an exponential amount.

Star Wars Posters Perfected in Every Way by Artist Tyler Stout

Star Wars Posters Perfected in Every Way by Artist Tyler Stout

When it comes to Star Wars, there's only a few ways you can go wrong. You can make life-sized plush animals (barring ewoks,) you can make terrible Christmas ornaments, and you can make a Star Wars Holiday Special. Of all the ways you can go right, it's an extremely difficult market to break into for movie posters. Everyone in the world who wants a poster either already has one or already has a favorite, and why would they grab a new one with more than 30 years of posters already having been released. Surely the craft has been perfected by now. But I say thee nay, perfection was not done in any of the past three decades, it was done now, by illustrator Tyler Stout.

Daniel Eatock Teaches the World to Compensate with a Cheap Bookshelf

Take a look at this, a bookshelf that you could potentially purchase from a store for about... oh... $10? So long that when heavy contents are placed along the center, it bends and arcs. Designer / artist Daniel Eatock saw this situation and decided to make the best out of it by grabbing all of his favorite books and placing them along the center in a perfect order, an order so perfect that the arc of the shelf and the height of each of the books perfectly compliment one another in harmony.

Angry Birds plush characters announced

Angry Birds plush characters announced

Of all the mobile games that I have on my iPad and on the iPhone, my daughter loves Angry Birds the most. The first thing I had to do when the Galaxy Tab came in was add Angry Birds to it as well. The game is a lot of fun, even if it can get frustrating on some levels after you try to beat the stupid pigs a hundred times.
