The ASUS Eee Top ET2002T all-in-one - which slots NVIDIA's Ion GPU into the nettop - has made its official appearance on the company's US site, together with getting an official announcement along with its 22-inch ET2203T sibling..  First spotted on a French retailer's site last week, the ET2002T packs Intel's dual-core Atom 330 processor together with a 20-inch 16:9 aspect touchscreen display and DVD burner. Samsung delay N510 Ion netbook until Windows 7 too

Hot on the heels of word that Lenovo's IdeaPad S12 NVIDIA Ion netbook will be delayed until the launch of Windows 7 in late October, comes the news from Samsung that they're planning the same tactics for their own Ion ultraportable, the N510.  The 11.6-inch notebook - which last we heard was set to arrive in the US come September - pairs Intel's 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor with 1GB of RAM and the GeForce 9400M GPU. ASUS' long-awaited Eee Keyboard could land as early as October, according to DigiTimes' "industry sources", with pricing set to hover in the $400-500 category.  It will follow on from a refresh of several of ASUS' Eee-breakaway lines, including a new Eee Top all-in-one and an Eee Box nettop, both of which will use NVIDIA's Ion GeForce 9300M GPU. Lenovo delay IdeaPad S12 with NVIDIA Ion until Windows 7

The ASUS EeeTop ET2002T first shown back in June at Computex has apparently made its official debut in France, with Blogeee spotting the full spec-list and some press shots. NVIDIA MCP89 and MCP99 Ion-successors headed to Apple in Q1 2010?

It looks as though NVIDIA and Apple may have kissed and made up after GPU issues soured their business relationship.  According to Digitimes' sources, the Cupertino company will use NVIDIA's upcoming MCP89 and MCP99 chipsets for Intel-based notebooks when they launch in Q1 2010.  The MCP89 is known to be the successor to the well-received GeForce 9400M (aka the NVIDIA Ion). Samsung N510 landing US in September; first of 3 ION netbooks?

Fresh Samsung ultraportable tidbits for you today, with the news that not only will the company's N510 NVIDIA Ion netbook be shipping in the US come September, but that it will be the first of three models to use the GeForce 9400M GPU.  According to documentation acquired by Netbook Choice, the N510 will be joined by the Samsung NP-N511 and NP-N508. Samsung N510 NVIDIA Ion netbook up for pre-order

Samsung may be keeping quiet on their upcoming N510 netbook complete with NVIDIA Ion graphics chipset, but that hasn't stopped French retailer Pixmania from putting the 11.6-inch ultraportable up for preorder.  €499 ($719) gets you an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, 160GB hard-drive and 1GB of RAM, with deliveries expected to begin on August 21st. NVIDIA Ion LE 1080p GPU confirmed: cheaper, drops DirectX 10

NVIDIA have released a second graphics product in their Ion range, the Ion LE, intended for entry-level devices such as netbooks and nettops.  Ion LE is apparently exactly the same as the existing Ion - which boosts netbook video performance to handle 1080p high-definition - aside from it lacks DirectX 10 support. Viewsonic VOT 130/132 and VOT 120/121 nettops get video demos

Of Viewsonic's new ULV lineup from last week it was the nettops that prompted the most interest.  The Viewsonic VOT 130 and 132 (on the left) and the Viewsonic VOT 120 and 121 (on the right) offer such notable features as NVIDIA Ion (in the VOT 132), a magnetically-attached DVD drive (the 13x models) and 1.3GHz CULV processor (the VOT 121).  NetbookNews stopped by for a couple of video hands-on demos with the nettops.
