Nintendo blocks out 3rd party resellers with own refurbished online store

Nintendo is looking to steal some business away from 3rd party resellers like Gamestop or Game n' Trade with its own refurbished online store. Its new refurbished store currently only offers slightly blemished Nintendo 3DS and Nintedo DSi XL systems, but soon it may offer even more products like the Wii U. While the refurbished online store will be beneficial to consumers, it will be detrimental to businesses. Luckily for businesses around the world, Nintendo's refurbished store is only available in North America.

NPD lists the top ten best-selling games in March

The NPD group has just released a list of the top ten best-selling games in March. The sales of the games were monitored from March 3rd to April 6th. BioShock Infinite topped the list, followed by Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Judgment, God of War: Ascension, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, MLB 13: The Show, NBA 2K13, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

New Mewtwo revealed for Pokemon X and Y

Pokemon X and Y promise a lot of new changes coming to the Pokemon handheld series, but one of these new changes will bring a wave of nostalgia from the classic days of Pokemon. Nintendo and Game Freak have released a trailer and teasers for a new version of Mewtwo, name still pending (though some are dubbing it Newtwo and Mewthree). Namco Bandai confirms Project X Zone release date for North America

Namco Bandai has confirmed that Project X Zone, its strategy RPG-game featuring over 50 characters from Namco Bandai, SEGA, and Capcom's games, will be making its way to North American and PAL regions over the summer. The official release date for North America is set for June 25th, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. European countries, however, are looking at a vague "Summer 2013" release date.
