More official Google Nexus 7 accessories have emerged, including a Bluetooth keyboard case for the 7-inch Jelly Bean tablet, and a rotating folio-stand that allows for both portrait and landscape use. The ASUS-made add-ons are all expected imminently, UK retailer MobileFun claims, finally broadening the range of accessories Nexus 7 owners can choose from beyond the current polyurethane cover.

The Nexus 7 has been shipping out to customers across Europe and the United States, but accessories for Google’s affordable tablet have been lacking. There’s a simple polyurethane cover, but no premium options or docks of any kind. Nordic Hardware has spied some slides that detail some accessories that are on the way from ASUS, including a premium leather cover, desktop dock for the tablet, and 10W power charger.

Well folks, another Monday is in the bag. We must say that for an otherwise ordinary Monday at the end of July, this one was pretty eventful as far as news stories go. Most importantly, today marked the beginning of the patent trail between Samsung and Apple. This morning we took a closer look at the trial and the arguments being made by both sides, while later on in the day we received word that a key witness in the case won't be showing up to testify. Apple's courtroom woes don't end at its trial with Samsung, however, as the company is also being sued over its Siri technology by a university in Taiwan.

Nexus 7 16GB back on sale
Google has resumed sales of the Nexus 7 16GB, having sold out of the 7-inch Android Jelly Bean tablet and been forced to freeze online orders as ASUS worked to build up stock. Listed at $249, the 16GB tablet ships in 3-5 business days; stock levels began to look shaky midway through July, before Google decided to cease taking orders a little over a week ago.

When it comes to promoting a new product, it really doesn't get much better than having someone use that product to initiate their marriage with their partner. That's what a Google employee by the name of Raj did with his new fiancé Aditi, giving her a Nexus 7 tablet pre-loaded with all of her favorite books, videos, photos, and songs. On top of all that, he pointed her toward a YouTube video (played on the tablet) that ultimately asked her to marry him - how cute!

Google is doing very well with its new tablet called the Nexus 7. The tablet quickly became very difficult to find in retail locations and for a while only the 8 GB model was available at the Google Play store. Nexus 7 sells out across the USA
It’s an amazing feat to behold when a company makes a device so popular that it sells out in one store, much less the entirety of the USA – but that’s what Google is doing with the Nexus 7. This ASUS-manufactured tablet appears very much to be capturing the imaginations – and pocketbooks – of users across the United States as well as the UK as retailers both offline and online are showing sold out signs galore. ASUS confirms full Jelly Bean update schedule
This morning the folks at ASUS have sent out a blast on what they’ll be doing as far as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for their full range of Google mobile OS toting tablets. This update includes confirmation that the ASUS Transformer Pad, ASUS Transformer Pad Prime and ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity will all be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the coming months. And this may only be the beginning!
Google Q2 2012 financial results hit $12+ BILLION in revenue
It’s another massively successful day for Google as they announce their second quarter financial results to investors along with celebrations of both the launch of their first Google-branded tablet and their real pairing with Motorola. Reminding investors that their acquisition of Motorola was finally approved around the world – for real this time – and that the Google Nexus 7 – launched at Google I/O 2012 – was already doing fabulously. In addition, Google announced an undeniably amazing consolidated revenue of $12.21 billion for the quarter.
