iriver wave homeT-Mobile USA are working on two Android-based non-smartphone devices, the first a data-enabled home phone to be followed by a 7-inch touchscreen tablet.  According to documents obtained by the NYT, the two devices will launch early in 2010 and be intended for in-home rather than mobile use.

Lacking the power of the D900F, but a whole lot happier with drops and falls, Clevo’s rugged 8.9-inch touchscreen slate uses the Intel Atom Z5×0-series processor and pairs it with a chassis that meets IP54 standards.  Provisionally known as the Clevo T89xM, the device is intended for outdoor workers such as engineers and surveyors.

Netbooks with Tablet PC functionality aren’t new, but Always Innovating have turned a new page with their 8.9-inch Touch Book.  It comes with a detachable keyboard, similar in concept to the much-missed HP tc1×00-series Tablet PC, meaning it can be used as a notebook or as a touchscreen slate.

We’ve not heard from AMtek’s Tablet PC or UMPC departments in a while, but it looks like they’ve been busy in the meantime.  Details of the T10L Touch have appeared on the company’s website, and as with the T221 it’s a mixture of UMPC and full-sized Tablet PC.  On the outside there’s a 10.2-inch XGA 1,024 x 600 touchscreen, which is larger than your standard UMPC, but inside there’s a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.  Could this be the first real example of a netslate?
