Native Union has been pushing its corded handsets for smartphones for some time now, but the Curve Twin is perhaps the first we'd actually have on our desk. Hooking up a tactile, soft-touch wired handset to two devices - Native Union is pushing the idea of your iPhone and iPad, though anything with a 3.5mm jack will work - and then propping them up on a stand, the Curve Twin can flick between the lines at the push of a button.

We've written about Native Union's range of Moshi Moshi handsets for cellphones before, and while they've always been endearing in a retro way, you could easily dismiss them as pretty gimmicky.  The company's latest models, though, are a little more usable in their functionality however; the new MM04 is a combination stereo Bluetooth speaker and handset, while the MM03 is a more traditional Bluetooth handset and there are brand new colors of the original Pop handsets.

While full-sized handsets for cellphones and VoIP aren't new - we've seen several companies offering unusual or retro ways to pretend your smartphone is something else - it's taken Native Union to attempt to make it all serious.  Their Moshi Moshi line of wired and wireless handsets and speakerphones not only look pretty darn good, but they offer features like dual-pairing (with, say, your phone and your laptop), streaming audio and more.
