When it comes to shopping deals online we all know the Monday following Thanksgiving is the time when you can get some killer online deals. The day is known as Cyber Monday and if you want a Mvix Mini HD media streaming that has been factory recertified you need to be spamming the F5 key Monday for the official discount code.

That code will get you the recertified player for only $9.99. The Mvix Mini HD Media player supports UPnP Streaming, external storage playback, and MKV, RMVB, H.264, and HDMI. The code is a secret right now; I guess they want to tease us about the deal.

If what you really want, is the cool Ultio Pro 1080p media player with PVR, which one will be on sales as well for $69. It is also factory recertified. We all know that most of the gadgets returned as broken are just fine and the issues were user error so this is a great way to get some cool hardware at a big discount.

Here’s one giant system for everything you do at home, basically. Take a peek at this. Mvix is offering a system that they note is compatable with Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Boxee, and Revision 3 internet television, plus more. It runs on Windows 7, plays Blu-ray disks, and generally appears to be one amazing base-camp for all your viewing pleasures in the home. Plus, they want to give you a $300 USD + coupon off the price if you feel like you might want to go ahead and buy one up.

This home theater system, again, is called “Mvix HDHome,” and and it’s made to be all-encompassing. It has an embedded BluRay player with PowerDVD, lowering your usual stack of players by one. It runs on a Windows 7 Media Center® platform that allows you to watch, pause, record, and watch Live TV, run Netflix, and share media across your home’s network.

The HDHome has the capability of storing up to four hot-swappable Hard Drives (S4 model), making it an ideal situation for you downloaders and savers of media. Then the really important part: speakers. This setup shoots out HD video as well as allowing HD 3D digital music over HDMI and Optical Digital Audio Outs.
Press Release:

Mvix HDHome Converges Home Theater, Gaming and Home Computing Into a Single Device

Chantilly, VA. The device delivers a convergence across high definition home entertainment, gaming and home computing into a single, compact unit along with massive storage space for hi def media files. “This high-end, comprehensive system fills a void in the market where users demand versatility and system flexibility. Our customers have been asking us for a device where they can store terabytes of their movie collection and have access to it from anyplace, anywhere. HDHome is a response to such a market feedback.” Said VP of Business Development, Mike Mallon.

Built along the traditional HTPC architecture, Mvix HDHome is targeted toward movie aficionadas and multi-taskers, who value superior quality, style and multi-source entertainment. It leverages the latest, Windows 7 Media Center® platform to deliver a near-perfect user interface along with a host of networked sharing options. One can browse thousands of internet TV stations, watch Netflix® , Hulu® and easily share media across the home network. HDHome also works as the universal platform for PC-based gaming and multi-player online games.

The HDHome media center features an embedded slot-load, Bluray player with PowerDVD for a complete HD entertainment experience. Eliminating the need for an additional set-top BD box in the living room, HDHome aims to be the center for all things HD, and Digital Media. With an embedded TV tuner, users will be able to watch, pause, and record a live TV program. HDHome uses latest video and audio decoding technology, making it most versatile media (video and audio) playback system in the market. Apart from true 1080p HD movies and images, HDHome also allows rich, HD 3D digital music over HDMI and optical digital audio out.

Inspite of its small size, HDHome provides expandable storage capacity. It features RAID-enabled, hot-swappable HDD bays for reliable, secure storage for all digital media and documents. HDHome is being launched in two flavors: HDHome S2 (2-bay version, priced at $999)and HDHome S4 (4-bay version, priced at $1599). Both models will feature 10/100/1000 network, Embedded Wireless-N, BD Drive, Media Card Slots, HDMI out, Optical Audio Out, TV Tuner and a full, licensed version of Windows-7 Home Premium disk.

Announcing the launch, Mike commeneted: “HDHome is the ultimate dream box for today’s high definition homes. It is the result of our decade long experience in delivering superior home entertainment devices, home theater PCs and media storage technology. HDHome is for people who enjoy and share movies, listen music, tweet, and web-surf – all at the same time, sitting in their living rooms or home theaters.”

Mvix has all sorts of gear for AV applications in the home and businesses. The latest product from the firm is a new powered 4-port HDMI splitter called the Mvix 1 x 4. The new splitter might not be as cool as the Mvix Ultio Pro home theater box, but if you want multiple screens with the same content, the splitter is the trick for you.

The splitter takes a single HDMI input and splits it out to multiple HDMI outputs. This lets the user connect four displays to the single source. The splitter works with Blu-ray players, media players, and digital signage. You can use the device to make a video wall.

The splitter supports HDMI 1.3, meaning it won’t work for 3D content. It will support full 1080p resolution along with DTS-HD and Dolby True HD HD 7.1 surround sound. The splitter uses a built-in power equalizer to ensure quality on longer cable runs. The splitter can be purchased now on Amazon for $130.
