Images claiming to show Nokia’s follow-up to the 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen cellphone, the Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, have leaked, and while there’s no confirmation that these are legitimate they certainly look the part. Believed to include a larger, 3.5-inch touchscreen, 3.5mm headphone jack and 5-megapixel camera, the 5900 XpressMusic is expected to run the same Symbian S60 5th Edition OS as its predecessor.
As my mother once told me, there’s only so long you can roll around on the floor, bleating and waving your arms around, before they put you out to pasture. Stanton have launched a new portable MIDI controller, using the layout of a traditional two-channel mixer but fully touch-sensitive. The Stanton SCS.3m Mixer Controller has touch-sensitive sliders, a multitouch-crossfader, colored programmable buttons to trigger loops, EQ kills or effects, and is peppered with LED indicators.

Hot on the heals of the Sony CMT-Z100iR comes another iPod dock with the same slot-loading CD drive and slightly-relaxed-obelisk styling. The Sony CMT-LX30-iR is a more compact speaker dock, but still offers USB playback, MP3 CD support, an FM/AM tuner, line-in and quick CD to USB sync.
