Sony Pictures tipped to name North Korea as cyberattack source

The cyberattack against Sony Pictures has been ongoing since it first appeared last week, effectively bringing the studio to a halt by taking over its corporate network and, later on, leaking data following threats of such. Though Sony has been relatively quiet on the matter, the FBI recently released a warning about a malicious software attack in the United States, something believed to be a reference to the Sony breach. In that FBI report -- obtained by Reuters -- it was said some of the software used by the hackers had been compiled in Korean.

Kingdom Hearts 3 may have both Marvel Comics and Star Wars characters

It's almost time - Kingdom Hearts 3 is nearly upon us. The co-director and game designer of both Kingdom Hearts 1.5/2.5 HD remasters AND Kingdom Hearts 3 Tai Yasue has spoken on the future. This future may very well have Disney characters (guaranteed, as in previous releases), as well as Marvel Comics characters AND Star Wars characters. Yasue suggested this week that while he couldn't "go into specifics," that since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2 was released 9 years ago, and Disney acquired both Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics, "nothing's off limits."

Sony Pictures movies leaked online following network hack

Following the news last week of the hacking of Sony Pictures' network by a group calling themselves "#GOP," or Guardians of Peace, DVD screener copies of several of the studio's movies have been leaked online. As was previously reported, the hackers threatened Sony with a list of unspecified demands, saying sensitive data would be released if the movie studio didn't cooperate. It appears that this could be the first of such leaks.

Netflix has detailed the new shows and movies that'll be arriving next month, as well as the ones that will be disappearing on December 1 (that gives you about two days left to catch up on them). The new content will roll out over the course of the month rather than all dropping at once, and include the series' we already knew were inbound, such as Marco Polo. When I woke up this morning, there was an early Christmas gift waiting for me on my phone. A new Star Wars trailer — a teaser, really — was released today, apparently JJ Abrams attempt to cause Black Friday accidents as we lazily sauntered around stores looking for deals. I was left with a feeling of “oh, neat, it’s all the things I expected”. There are Storm Troopers, the Millennium Falcon, X-Wings, and a Sith lord. There’s also a new light saber.
