Watch The Force Awakens in just 60 seconds

Watch The Force Awakens in just 60 seconds

How many times have you watched The Force Awakens? Personally, I've only made it to the theater once, due to my busy schedule. Going out takes time and costs money, but what if you could watch the movie from the comfort of your own home, in roughly a minute? I bet you could get a lot of viewings in that way.

Luke Skywalker’s blaster goes on the auction block

When you think of Luke Skywalker's iconic weapon of choice, you no doubt think of one of his two lightsabers. Either the one passed down from dear old dad, or the one he constructed after dad separated him from it (and the hand holding it). But there was one other weapon that he weilded, during The Empire Strikes Back, and it's up for sale, if you want it.

Star Wars TFA vids show how Maz Kanata, CG shots were made

Since time immemorial … OK maybe not that too long ago, films, especially science fiction, have been the seed bed of the latest in CG technology. Year after year, we are treated to movies that push the limits of computer generated images, pushing the boundaries of our own perceptions and minds. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is, of course, no different and although not as revolutionary as some titles would claim to be, it has its fair share of CGI shots that are vying for a slot in awards night. Two breakdown edit videos give a glimpse of the craftsmanship behind those shots, especially in bringing the mysterious Maz Kanata to life.

Star Wars Episode 8 has been delayed

Star Wars Episode 8 has been delayed

While the original release date for Star Wars Episode 8 was set for May of 2017, we'll now be seeing placement closer to that of The Force Awakens. Very likely due to the massive appeal of a December showing due to the best-in-history ticket sales of Star Wars: Episode 7, Disney has decided to push the release of Episode 8 back a few months. That'll be seven months later than it was originally planned, but has no effect on the release of Star Wars: Rogue One (aka Rogue One, a Star Wars Story).
