Watch Deadpool spend Halloween trolling a bunch of kids

Watch Deadpool spend Halloween trolling a bunch of kids

As the role of Deadpool was made for Ryan Reynolds and the suit was cut for him specifically, the actor takes many opportunities to wear it. To wear the skin of the comic book character, figuratively. Or literally, we don't really know, but we're guessing. In the video you're about to see, "How Deadpool Spent Halloween," you're going to see Deadpool speaking with a bunch of kids dressed up like the X-Men, and subsequently swearing at them several times.

Star Wars The Force Awakens posters: we made the rest

Star Wars The Force Awakens posters: we made the rest

This morning Lucasfilm released a set of five posters depicting some of the main characters of the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This film will be released in December - not too long from now - and quite a bit of the plot and the details therein remain a secret. As such, we're not entirely surprised there's no Luke Skywalker poster. But we wanted one anyway, so we made one. We made a poster for Chewbacca as well, at Peter Mayhew's request.

Netflix: original anime, Bollywood shows may happen

Netflix: original anime, Bollywood shows may happen

Netflix is really pushing the original content aspect of its business, and in doing so it may branch out into areas of entertainment that aren’t commonly being pursued by production companies. In this case, the video service may begin producing its own anime and Bollywood-style movies, both of which would be targeted at foreign markets. This, should it ever come to fruition, would be part of a larger overall goal of producing “more unique programming” that traditional companies aren’t creating.

This awesome life-size R2-D2 fridge is Japan-only

Well, Star Wars merchandising and product tie-ins continue to pour out as the release date for The Force Awakens draws near. This time, however, Japan may have topped it all, with the just announced R2-D2 mini fridge from AQUA. That's not to say the fridge is "mini," as it's actually a life-size R2-D2 model, complete with movement and sound effects. Since we've already seen R2-D2 as a lawn ornament, a showerhead, and even a humidifier, there was really no other products left to explore besides mini fridge.

Neill Blomkamp’s Alien movie delayed for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus 2

Earlier this year, fans of the Alien movie series were excited to learn that District 9-director Neill Blomkamp was confirmed to be working on a new entry, setting the stage for a film that could make up for the widely panned Prometheus. Unfortunately, as is known to happen in the world of Hollywood, the unnamed project has been put on hold. It was Blomkamp himself that shared the news on Twitter, adding that the reason is because director Ridley Scott is moving ahead on production of the Prometheus sequel, also known as Alien: Paradise Lost.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens – theaters cap cosplay options

Bad news, cosplayers. Some theaters are putting restrictions on what kind of costumes you can wear during showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Whether your costume plans are dashed will depend on how elaborate your getup is and where you're planning to see the movie, but if it involves things like face masks and fake weapons, you're probably going to be one of the unlucky fans affected.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 casting calls for beautiful women and odd men

A bit of outrage has been prematurely sparked this week as the first casting call for extras on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is sent out. While this first casting release calls for "beautiful/model aliens - MEN and WOMEN" and "Character Aliens - MEN (only)", it also calls for "BALD WOMEN" separately - and is, of course, only the first of MANY such casting calls that'll be revealed over the next few weeks and months. Director James Gunn took to Twitter to stem the influx of negative outcry over the situation this morning.

Netflix: ‘Beasts of No Nation’ has millions of views

Beasts of No Nation is an important movie for Netflix — it is the company’s first official foray into theatrical feature films, and though it stumbled with its limited theatrical release, the film itself has done very well on the streaming service. According to Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, the movie has been streamed more than three million times already. That's a particularly impressive figure in that Beasts of No Nation premiered on October 16.

Is Boba Fett in Star Wars The Force Awakens? [UPDATE 2]

Is Boba Fett in Star Wars The Force Awakens? [UPDATE 2]

One of MANY Easter Eggs found in the new Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer released this week was a pair of banners bearing familiar imagery. One banner features the "Boba Fett Symbol" as some like to call it, another bears the "Boba Fett Wheat". These banners appear above the heads of Finn, Rey, BB-8, and Han Solo as they enter what we can only assume is the headquarters of some nefarious criminal organization. We might have already seen this organization's insides, too.
