I'm an adult male who grew up with LEGO and, with my daughter, continue to play with and enjoy the creative building toy today - and I was entertained by the movie from start to finish. My daughter and I are two of the types of audience members the creators of this movie appear to have aimed for directly.

Raving Rabbids feature-length film: Ubisoft and Sony Pictures set to helm

It would appear that the little creatures known as Rabbids - sourced from the Rayman video game series and readied for the public as their own series by Ubisoft - have secured themselves a full-length feature film deal with Sony Pictures. This film has Jean-Julien Baronnet, Executive Director, Ubisoft Motion Pictures, and Hannah Minghella, president of Production for Columbia Pictures, speaking up on the deal, letting it be known that Columbia will be working on the picture as well. This release comes after the collaborative effort between Ubisoft Motion Pictures, France Television, and Nickelodeon called "Rabbids Invasion", a television show out right this minute.

Disney Google Play exclusive Mickey take takes on “Vinylmation”

There's a kind of stop-motion animation* called "vinylmation" right this minute, if you did not know, using vinyl toys as the models and just as simple a stop-motion technique as you like. While we've seen everything from Ninja Turtle Legos to Star Wars figures snapped in this bit of creational sway, today Disney lets loose a trailer for a short called "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story" featuring a couple of rather plain-looking mice.
