The Vision FINALLY revealed in Avengers: Age of Ultron poster

The final piece of the Ultron puzzle is finally here. Well, somewhat. Much is still unknown about him (or it), but Marvel has finally given the android Vision his very own poster and his proper place in the Avengers photo op. With this, the chessboard is set and ready for what is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters this month. But given how Joss Whedon, with the blessing of Marvel of course, has tweaked the story a bit, Vision's origin story and eventual role in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Confirmed: Disney is making a third TRON film

If you’re of a certain age, you were lucky enough to have been influenced by TRON, and later TRON: Legacy, as they arrived in theaters. Though the first two were nearly 30 years separated from one another, a new report confirms the wait for a third installment won’t take as long. Several sources are confirming Disney is moving forward with a third installment in the franchise, tentatively titled TRON 3 (because what else would you call it right now?). There are working titles floating around, too, which may hint at the film’s plot-line.

Amazon’s tipped Crytek deal and the big screen entertainment therein

Amazon’s tipped Crytek deal and the big screen entertainment therein

The future of movies is here - it's in video game engines. I came to this realization when I took part in the Thief in the Shadows VR experience at GDC 2015 with Epic Games. Word today is that Amazon recently struck a deal with Crytek to do something or other - license their gaming engine, perhaps - in a deal that we can't help but think has something to do with video entertainment. Movies, even. While Amazon does not give up on projects, even when they fail, tapping in to CryEngine's potential more than likely means Amazon is about to go big with a big-screen production (on their own small screens, of course).

‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ movie to arrive in early 2016

A handful of years ago, a rehashed version of "Pride and Prejudice" was released called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and as you'd expect given the title, it incorporates the undead into the storyline. The book was released back in 2009, and fans have been pushing for a movie edition. With zombies (again) enjoying the popular spotlight, it is no surprise that now seems like as good a time as any, and news of an official movie in the pipeline has surfaced. The flick will be hitting theaters in early 2016.

Super Troopers 2 crowdfunded quick with some unique perks

Some very wealthy individuals appear to have taken to the crowdfunding venture that is Super Troopers 2. While the film studio gave the go-ahead for the film with a guarantee of distribution, the creative team at Broken Lizard agreed to fund it. This means they needed to raise a minimum of $2,000,000 to get the film off the ground. Using an Indiegogo campaign to make the cash, they've claimed over $2.2 million in just over 24 hours.
