Motorola DROID RAZR M 4G LTE leaks again in detail

Verizon's next DROID appears to have leaked once more this morning in a hands-on treatment with assurances that the Snapdragon S4 processor inside it is "fantastic." Over at Engadget this souce has noted that the lithium polymer battery inside was able to withstand a full day's heavy usage even with 4G LTE active, and the casing is ready for battle action as well. As you may well know, Motorola's latest line of smartphones basically all have protection against drops and water splashes, so we're not surprised that this one is as well. Read The Full Story

Google looking to sell Motorola’s set-top box unit

Google bought a lot of stuff when it purchased Motorola Mobility, but it turns out that the company isn't interested in some of it. Bloomberg reports that Google is looking to sell off Motorola's Home Business unit, which sells set-top boxes to cable providers. Google doesn't want anything to do with set-top boxes, it seems, as the company has reportedly hired Barclays Plc to handle the sale. Read The Full Story

It's time again to see the next Verizon 4G LTE device before its official launch as another leaked photo appears to be bringing along with it one more glimpse of the sharp-looking Droid RAZR M 4G LTE in silver. Of course if you take into account that the previous versions of the DROID RAZR were made in "white" trim, you might be thinking that this device is bringing on white - it's all up to your vision at this point as no official word has been dropped. Apple and Motorola working on licensing deal in Germany

Apple and Motorola have apparently started discussing a licensing deal for some of Motorola's standard-essential patents in Germany. FOSS Patents reports that Motorola announced the work-in-progress deal last night, though the two have yet to agree on the price that Apple will pay for licensing. As many of you already know, Motorola and its new parent company Google have taken Apple to court, attempting to get a number of iDevices banned for patent infringement. Read The Full Story

It appears that Motorola's big smartphone secret may have been revealed just a few days early with the Verizon-bound Droid RAZR M 4G LTE. This device has been unceremoniously leaked to Engadget with hardware photos, specifications galore, and indications that this device will rival all other Motorola handsets to date. We’ve got our hands on this device today and are finding its lovely 5-row keyboard to be just as nice as past DROID products we’ve seen from the manufacturer, brought on here with the speed of a dual-core processor and some nice rounded corners to keep you comfortable. Yesterday, a report surfaced detailing that Motorola was planning to launch the DROID RAZR HD in conjunction with Verizon in October. Current whispers are telling us that pre-orders for the next iPhone will become available on September 12 - the same day that Apple is expected to reveal it - and that it'll become available at AT&T later on in the month.
