Motorola teases mystery smartphone with 4G LTE

A brand new Motorola smartphone is headed your way soon from Motorola and either Verizon or AT&T, with the manufacturer teasing the shape of the device today. The final product will be revealed August 10th, but for now we have but two details: the device is going to look like a big rectangle with extremely sharp (yet rounded) corners, and it'll have 4G LTE. Our guess is as good as yours, just as long as your guess is the Motorola RAZR HD (or DROID RAZR HD if it ends up rolling out on Verizon) - it's almost a sure bet! Read The Full Story

US Cellular brings Motorola Electrify 2 and Defy XT to the hardcore public

It's time to get hardcore on the Motorola tip with your favorite 5th-place carrier in the United States, US Cellular. There are two new devices being revealed this week, the first being the Electrify 2, a Motorola device that takes everything that's great about Motorola's newest line of RAZR and ATRIX devices and puts it in a slightly different casing. The second device is a rough-and-tumble smartphone by the name of Defy XT, another Motorola smartphone that looks rather similar to the Defy, a Motorola smartphone sold by T-Mobile. Verizon DROID RAZR Ice Cream Sandwich update goes live from today

Verizon has confirmed that the DROID RAZR updates to Ice Cream Sandwich are due to begin rolling out today, while two models will also have global roaming enabled. The update will not only bring Android 4.0 to the DROID RAZR family, but turn on international roaming support on GSM networks for the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX. Read The Full Story

Motorola DROID RAZR HD for Verizon leaks

Another day another leak here for Motorola. After seeing the first press image of what is rumored to be AT&T's Motorola Atrix 3, we now have a leaked photo of the upcoming Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR HD. Showing the full Kevlar backplate and sleek design of the new version, looking very similar to the original DROID RAZR other than a few minor changes. Motorola DROID RAZR HD spied in Cellebrite system

There have been an increasingly number of Motorola DROID RAZR HD leaks lately. The phone was first revealed as the DROID Fighter back in March, looking awfully similar to the current RAZR but with a larger 4.6-inch screen and 3,300mAh battery. The handset was mentioned again in leaked EXIF data last month, and another leak out of China showed the phone running Ice Cream Sandwich. It appears that Motorola is just about ready to bring on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for their Google mobile OS-toting line of smartphones starting with the DROID RAZR. This is evidenced by a set of videos showing off the software running on a faux display from the device with several upgrades that'll make your old software look like a child in comparison. Verizon global 4G LTE comes to four new phones

In an expansion that can only be called global-minded, the folks at Verizon are today letting it be known that four more Android phones will soon be approved for global use. Three DROID-branded Motorola devices as well as HTC's Rezound will be bringing on global roaming so that we'll be able to bring them with next year to Mobile World Congress if we wish! Customers will be seeing notifications on their smartphones when the software update is available, and yes, it is a software update that everyone will have to initiate, even if they don't plan on flying soon. Motorola DROID RAZR now available in blue
