If the Piaggio MP3 leaning-scooter has taken your fancy, but you’d prefer something with a bit more grunt, Nick Schotter should be your first port of call. He’s spent the past 20 years working on the 4MC (4-wheeled motorcycle concept), a bike capable of leaning 40-degrees to each side for super-speedy cornering.

Last week at Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in New York they were able to unveil the new Victory Motorcycle’s CORE concept bike. Designed by Victory’s lead Industrial Designer, Michael Song, the bike features some great body work with a ton of touring amenities.
At first glance we’d expect Garmin’s new Nuvi 510 to be a budget model. After all, the 3.5-inch screen is smaller (and regular aspect rather than widescreen) than most other new GPS devices we see, and there’s no fancy graphics or clever 3D building renders. However Garmin intend the 510 to be used not only in a car but on a motorbike and at sea, and so the feature set is slanted toward that.
Typically here on Slashgear we cover slightly smaller mods, computers and game consoles are extremely typical. This slightly larger mod, appears to be a perfectly normal bike. Actually if there weren’t a wheelchair sitting next to it, I wouldn’t have known there was the slightest difference between it and other bikes.
I’ve seen several headsets recently that use bone conduction to get what was said to you, to you, but they were lacking the voice part that goes on your neck for direct connection to your voice box. Now we have a headset that has the voice box part but some dinky little ear bud for the speaker part, when will they marry the two?
Check out this nifty little gadget from Parrot! It connects to just about any helmet because it has some pretty flexible mounting options. On the outside you have the mic and the majority of the hardware and then they were ingenious enough to move the speakers to the inside of the helmet and they give you several different options mounting that on the inside of your helmet.
The Vectrix is the first two-wheeled ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicle) that combines style and performance. It’s an all-electric maxi-scooter operates at a penny a mile cost. The Vectrix will go from 0-50 in 6.8 seconds with a max speed of 62 MPH and it’s highway legal.
Sometimes its the simple gadgets that have the biggest effect. I know its great to have those flashy ones to make you feel important. However, quirky gadgets such as this plate flipper can make the biggest impact.
The Renovatio is the slickest motorcycle design I have ever laid eyes on. It’s a design from Confederate Motor Company hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. Feast your eyes on this V-twin, SFI, 135 hp beast.
