It’s nearly time for Motorola to reveal their next "flagship" device in what’s tipped to be the Moto E at an event this May 13th. This device will build on the success of the Moto G, bringing an even greater cost-value structure to the market with a tinier display, slightly lower processing power, and a smaller camera. Republic Wireless Moto G readied for off-contract push

In what appears to be an effort to snag every single wireless provider in the universe, the Motorola Moto G has - again - appeared with a new brand this week: Republic Wireless. This device and this brand seem custom-fit for one another as the device was made for off-contract sales with low-cost and decent (though not hero-phone) specifications while the carrier sells only off-contract devices. Here the Moto G will be sold in two iterations, both its 8GB and 16GB internal storage self.

Motorola's CEO Dennis Woodside has again taken to discussions about smartphone pricing and customization, something he has spoken about at length in the past. Among his topics was a focus on pricing, and mention of a $50 smartphone came into play. He also brought up customization, which the Moto X kicked off in a big way, mentioning the ability to customize the display.
