Essentially this device hooks up to you (probably around your chest) and monitors your breath. Then, if you are breathing faster than 10 breaths per minute (the therapeutic zone) it creates a custom melody that will help you slow your breathing rate.
That’s the long ass name of a product that holds up to 8 LCD monitors on a single stand. The best part is that it’s a tool-less operation to add another monitor to it (if you don’t fill up all 8 slots as soon as you get it), they just snap into place.
I want on of these monitors, it has a resolution of 1920×1200 on a 24-inch screen, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, D-SUB, and DVD-D inputs. To top all of that off, literally, they integrated a 1.3MP camera into the top of it.
Three new AccuSync monitors from NEC are coming this March. There is a 17, 19, and 22 inch model, all three have both DVI and VGA inputs.
This monitor from EIZO was shown off at this year’s PMA and it is clearly and squarely aimed at the visual professional. I mean, how many other monitors you know that can automatically recalibrate them to give you the perfect picture.
Using their rather unique monitor, you don’t even have to touch the screen to manipulate objects on it. You can just point, I know your mother always told you it wasn’t nice to point, but I don’t think you are going to hurt the monitor’s feelings any.
