Skype for Symbian S60 slides into Nokia’s Ovi Store

The latest version of Skype's mobile VoIP app for Symbian S60 devices (aka Symbian^1) has been added to the Nokia Ovi Store, making free calls over WiFi or 3G a slightly easier possibility for the millions of handset owners out there.  In fact, there are over 200 million Nokia phones worldwide, and with the Skype app they'll be able to send SMS messages, share images and other files, use IM and of course make free or low-cost Skype calls. EU Commission clears T-Mobile, Orange UK merger

Sprint expands Buyback program to any eligible handset from any carrier

Nokia Symbian^3 2010 plan detailed: 12MP N8-00 tipped for Summer

Slightly more believable than the N98 render from earlier today comes word on the first range of Symbian^3 devices Nokia plan to push out in 2010 and the range nomenclature the Finnish company is shifting to.  According to French site Tom's Guide, Nokia are planning to drop their Classic and XpressMusic differentiators and instead settle on five letter-prefix segments, as well as launch a device - the N8-00 - a 12.3-megapixel smartphone with HDMI and HD video recording. LG Arena Max LU9400 spotted in wild

Nokia C5 3G S60 handset leaks ahead of MWC 2010

Nokia weren't tipped to be announcing anything significant at Mobile World Congress 2010, but according to DailyMobile there's at least one new handset on its way to Barcelona.  The Nokia C5 has leaked, a Symbian S60v3 FP2 device with HSDPA/HSUPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 2.2-inch QVGA display.
