Apple iOS 4.3 drops today at 10AM PT?

Could iOS 4.3 be landing earlier than expected? Steve Jobs announced that the updated OS would arrive on Friday, March 11, alongside the new iPad 2, but a new rumor has pegged it for release today. Personal Hotspots Coming from AT&T

AT&T has confirmed that it will begin supporting the Personal Hotspot feature with the launch of iOS 4.3 on March 11. Users who have the $25 a month DataPro plan which allows for 2 GB of usage, plus the $20 a month tethering add-on will get the update automatically when the update pushes out on the 11th. Users with earlier versions of the iPhone will not be able to use the feature. Verizon's iPhone shipped with the feature, so AT&T has been quick to offer it as well. Read The Full Story

T-Mobile USA is tipped to be readying a potentially true-unlimited data plan for its heaviest users. According to TmoNews' tipster, who sent them a shot of the carrier's internal systems, "an unlimited plan for more than 5GB of monthly data use will launch sometime this year." Read The Full Story

Verizon Presto 4G LTE Hotspot is Samsung’s SCH-LC11, due February 17?

Samsung's SCH-LC11 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot slipped out at CES 2011 with the promise of dual-mode EVDO Rev.A and LTE support for Verizon's network, but no release date in tow. However, in among the recent Best Buy slip - which confirmed the XOOM and ThunderBolt launch schedules - there's also confirmation of the Samsung Presto "Hotspot", due on February 17, which could well be the official name of the SCH-LC11. AT&T Mobile Hotspot plan due Feb 13 as tethering bundle doubles

AT&T has officially confirmed its mobile hotspot plans, with the app debuting for Android smartphones with the launch of the HTC Inspire 4G come February 13.
