Tiny Toys Shopping Guide – Nightmare Before Christmas Little Taps and ChoroQ Qsteer R/C Racer

, Nov 30th 2007 Discuss [1]

I’m not sure what the worlds obsession is with picturing things next to coins. I get that’s small when you use words like little, mini, tiny and micro… no visual necessary, but that’s just me. Anyway, here are two tiny toys that are just a bit bigger than a quarter, enjoy. First up we have Jack from the Nightmare Before Christmas, now he’s not the only character this toy comes in but with the season so close he’s the featured toy right now. This Little Taps toy will sing and dance to songs from the show and should come across any other Little Taps they all interconnect and will sing and dance together. You can pick up Jack for just $14.99. Read The Full Story

Mini Weapons – Miniature Bazooka and Samurai Weapons

, Nov 30th 2007 Discuss [0]

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again: Girls love miniature things. However, this is one mini set I’d stay away from when picking out something for your sweetie, unless your sweetie is me, cause I think these are great! If you love weapons and Halo 3 just isn’t enough of a fix for you, you might stop buy ThinkGeek and pick up one or both of these miniature weapons sets. The bazooka sets are a 1/6th scale replicas of a Panzer Faust3, RPG-7, FIM-43, M20A1, and SA-18. Each set ($8.99) only lets you pick out two, so you may end up with doubles of one when you buy the complete series. Each bazooka comes with its own stand for maximum display-ability. Hitch Vault – The Mini Safe

, Nov 30th 2007 Discuss [1]

I take great precaution in making sure I’m never without something I need, or if I am without making sure I have a backup plan. For example, I have a spare set of keys my parents keep for me and when I know I’m having a short cash flow month, I stash a little in a secret place that I often forget about until I’m in desperate need of it. , Nov 30th 2007 Discuss [0]

Have you ever been in a situation where you had to a secret message visible only by ultra violet light and then after words needed get rid of the evidence, but there wasn’t a convenient way to fully destroy said evidence so you had to eat it instead? Vivat Bacchus Hamper for a Christmas with Taste

, Nov 30th 2007 Discuss [0]

I’ve never been ‘wine and cheese’ kind of person, that is to say if it’s more then $20, I’m not drinking it. However, if anyone wants to buy me the Vivat Bacchus Hamper this Christmas I’m willing to change my mind. This package is the most expensive Christmas Hamper on the market so far, coming in at a whopping £45,000. The South African themed restaurant/delicatessen/wine bar that is offering it is located in London’s Square Mile and has filled it with a selection of the rarest and most desired of wines, meats and cheeses. Static Electricity Eliminator – Protect your electronics!

, Nov 29th 2007 Discuss [3]

One of the things I can’t stand the most would be getting shocked due to static electricity. I fear the metal doorknob or desk that might give me that tiny little jolt. Maybe that shows just what a sissy I am but it’s true and I won’t deny it. Now, though, thanks to the Static Electricity Eliminator I can be jolt free and so can you. It’s all very simple really, you just touch the rubber end to any grounded object and voila, a little flash will indicate you are static free and safe to roam the metal jungle. Of course, since you’re static free now, you don’t have to fear harming any of your electronic goodies, it’s a win/win. Read The Full Story

Fold Away Scooters – Another step in making the world a greener place

, Nov 29th 2007 Discuss [0]

MIT unveiled what it calls (quite reasonably) a fold away scooter. As the name suggests you can fold this scooter up. It reminds me a little of that commercial where the lady transformers her vehicle into a tiny box she drops in her purse… Well this shows you just how close we are to making that a reality. The design is yet another step in making the world a “greener” place. MIT’s Smart Cities Group wanted to provide a clean, silent electronic scooter. Obviously this would be great for big cities but a problem lies in storage, that’s where the folding comes in. Like I said before, it folds up into something equivalent to rolling suitcase that can be toted and stored in a small area of your office or what-have-you. Read The Full Story

Send in the Drones

, Nov 29th 2007 Discuss [0]

When your manpower is lacking it’s only plausible to turn to your laboratory to build something or another to do the work you’re incapable of handling. It’s simple (Mad Scientist) logic. So it’s easy to understand why the Miami police have come to this same conclusion. Starting next year, FAA willing, the Miami police force will be using drones to patrol areas during SWAT team and tactical operations. The MAV (Micro Air Vehicle) is made by Honeywell and soar over 10,000 feet. These unmanned units, which the military has been using for sometime, will be controlled via a remote used only by licensed pilots. Read The Full Story

Quieter Incoming Calls – Signal Cell Phone Holder

, Nov 28th 2007 Discuss [0]

Sometimes after a hard days work the last thing I want to hear is my cell phone. Even though my ringtones are my favorite songs, it makes me cringe at the thought of talking to anyone, and that annoying vibrating is well…annoying. But I suffer from what I call ‘gottaknow’ syndrome. I want to know when I’m being called, it gives me great pleasure when I know I’m ignoring someone, so I can’t turn my phone off. Apparently, I’m not the only one. Lexon has put out its Signal cell phone holder. It comes equipped with LED lights which flicker for you when you have an incoming call. No more noisey phones, just soft blinking lights. Genius! Read The Full Story

Hello Kitty – Has the Cat Gone too Far?

, Nov 28th 2007 Discuss [2]

I never gave Hello Kitty much thought before today, but after what I’ve seen I must admit I’m a little afraid. Hello Kitty is slowly but surely taking over the world. It started innocently enough, I’m sure, with DVD’s, clothes, etc… and even this item, the Hello Kitty Bicycle Tires, aren’t that bad. They have the cutesy little kitten’s face imprinted in the tread so wherever you go, Hello Kitty goes too. You can buy them for $20-$25 a piece. To be honest, I passed this item up my first time through. It was the next item that really caught my attention. Read The Full Story
