Lightroenergy lasts 12 years without power

, Dec 13th 2007 Discuss [4]

Yeah, it kind of looks like glow in the dark but it’s more grown up and sophisticated than that. This doesn’t need sunlight or electricity and glows for 12 years at about the same level as a 20 watt bulb. Read The Full Story

Plastic Surgeon Package Opener Gets The Job Done Beautifully

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [0]

Who hasn’t had those moments where you are ripping with your fingers, teeth, scissors, a knife or whatever into the plastic casing on your newly bought goody? It’s aggravating and sometimes by the time I get the darn thing open I’m tired of looking at it. It makes you wonder why they would be so cruel to use to package it in such a way. Deluxe Laser Challenge Pro Set

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [3]

I’ve played laser tag maybe twice in my life and from what I remember I loved it. I’ve never fired an actual gun and I’ll adamantly let you know that I’m against guns but for some strange reason I do enjoy playing games that involve them. Perhaps in another life I was huntress. Who knows. Read The Full Story

Tick Tock Timebomb Clock

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [0]

There are certain things that are fun for a laugh and then there are the things that are just bound to get you into trouble. The latter are the things we relish to own and I just know this clock makes that list. Read The Full Story

AlertMe Home Security System

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [0]

My home security systems have always consisted of a lock and a dog. We’ve never had any problems with that unless you count the time some idiots took my dad’s tailgate from his truck in broad daylight, but that was outside the house. If we ever do decide, though, to upgrade to something a little more advance I can only assume that we’d go with something like the AlertMe. This security monitoring service is like having your mother watch over you, it thinks of and sees everything. You have two smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, three door/window sensors that will alert you if they’re opened while you’re gone and three key fobs that let you turn the alarms on or off with a click of a button and even allows you to know who’s in the house or who’s gone. That means no more late night sneaking out kiddies! You’ll also receive two motion detectors that will report any movements to you and a Panic/doorbell/quick alarm cancel button. Read The Full Story

Barrel Sauna – A steamy backyard retreat

, Dec 12th 2007 Discuss [0]

On my list of “Things I want when I make it big” you’ll find ‘Sauna’ towards the top. There isn’t much that’s more refreshing than a steam bath, in my opinion. Calloway Woodworks knows and understands this desire. They’ve got an Outdoor Barrel Sauna for around $4500-$6670. I don’t think that’s a bad price at all. I may even afford one before I make it big. AquaMaker AM10 pulls water literally out of thin air

This water cooler will suck the air dry pulling 36 liters of water from the surrounding air within 38 hours. That means its like a dehumidifier on crack, oh, and did I mention it also recycles and filters the water so its drinkable, and it even cools it a bit. On top of all that, its an air purifier too, because it purifies the air before it sucks the water out of it, meaning when the air comes out the other end its both water and contaminant free. So you get cleaner, dryer air, and some clean drinking water, sadly there are a couple of downsides, the first is the $1799 price tag, the second is the nearly $17 per day operating cost, at least that’s what Ubergizmo has it estimated at. I have always wanted a water cooler in my home, for several reasons, but mainly because our city water is horrible and is very hard. But I knew I was too cheap to rent one and make monthly payments to some company who brings us water, and still yet too cheap to buy the cooler myself and then just buy the water each time, I guess I have found my solution if I can come up with $1799 and some way to recoup the $17 per day it supposedly costs to run this thing. 50 Cent puts in his two cents

, Dec 11th 2007 Discuss [3]

While I’m not the biggest fan of “hip-hop/rap” music I really have to applaud 50 Cent for his recent comments on file sharing. He gives a real perspective that the rest of the music industry tries to deny. Read The Full Story

Breakfast on the Go with Bikefast

, Dec 11th 2007 Discuss [0]

I don’t really eat breakfast because I sleep until eleven most days but I remember when I was in school and it was the most important meal of the day. I don’t recall ever skipping on breakfast because it’s not hard to walk, ride a bike, or bus while eating a Poptart but I could see how some people might have a dilemma. Read The Full Story

Reborn – Flowers rotate through life and death

, Dec 11th 2007 Discuss [0]

I’m not really big on flowers. For the money compared to how much time you’ll have actually have them it’s ridiculous. However, I do know a few people who dry or press their flowers and keep them in scrapbooks and such and I guess that’s not so bad and I guess in the end it’s really the though that counts behind the gift.
