Apparently some teens with nothing better to do have decided to use Google Earth for a bit of mischief. They use it to spot a nice looking pool on the images and then will then have a pool party while the owners are away.

In case you were wondering, and I’m sure you were, Vincent, nor I, nor Mr. Davies, nor anyone on the SlashGear team you’ve likely ever heard of is reporting from CeBIT for us. Instead we have Milena, the character you see seated in the customized Mini Cooper.
I am a big fan of beer, sadly Heineken isn’t one of my favorites, but their new BeerTender works with other brands as well. This is essentially a countertop kegerator/tap for you to poor fresh beer from.

This water cooler will suck the air dry pulling 36 liters of water from the surrounding air within 38 hours. That means its like a dehumidifier on crack, oh, and did I mention it also recycles and filters the water so its drinkable, and it even cools it a bit.
On top of all that, its an air purifier too, because it purifies the air before it sucks the water out of it, meaning when the air comes out the other end its both water and contaminant free. So you get cleaner, dryer air, and some clean drinking water, sadly there are a couple of downsides, the first is the $1799 price tag, the second is the nearly $17 per day operating cost, at least that’s what Ubergizmo has it estimated at.
I have always wanted a water cooler in my home, for several reasons, but mainly because our city water is horrible and is very hard. But I knew I was too cheap to rent one and make monthly payments to some company who brings us water, and still yet too cheap to buy the cooler myself and then just buy the water each time, I guess I have found my solution if I can come up with $1799 and some way to recoup the $17 per day it supposedly costs to run this thing.

Shoes are something I’ve never understood the craze over. I know people still rush out to buy the newest, most expensive trend everyday but for me… I just don’t get it. Unless of course they are Bumble Bee Mary Janes and then I, too, turn into that girl from the “Shoes” video.

If there is one type of person, I think, that is even crazier about shoes than girls in general it would those in the rap/hip-hop genre. I’m positive that the new diamond encrusted air Force 1 ‘So Cals’ being sold at Atlanta’s Lace Up Boutique will be that next big trend, or at least be the starting point for it. The Nike logo on the shoe is cast in gold metal and surrounded by 11 carat diamonds which are studded in casings held together with fine gold stitching.
A lot of people collect coins, heck, most of my family does. My dad collects the state quarters, my grandpa has several silver plated bills and I collect a mishmash of things I consider odd: silver/gold dollars, half dollars and two dollar bills mostly, though, I do also have a quarter that folds up and a penny that hides a dime inside. Coin collecting isn’t a new idea but the people behind 1968pennies.com have come up with a great way to expand their collection.
Their specific collection, it may surprise you to know, is only 1968 pennies. That means no 1983 or 1974 pennies allowed. They are asking that anyone and everyone send in any 1968 pennies they may have because of the 4,858,503,583 pennies minted in 1968 countless have been lost forever and they need our help to save this endangered coin!
I didn’t think Post-it could go much further after the regular size, mini size, stick-it highlighters, etc… where could one possibly go from there? Looks like they found out.
