Next Mass Effect to offer a fresh experience

Fans of the Mass Effect franchise will be very happy to hear that Bioware is currently getting ready to develop the next Mass Effect game. Casey Hudson, the Executive Producer at Bioware, stated that the game developer is planning on bringing a "fresh and new" experience to the series. He says that the game will still have the same, core aspects that made the franchise so successful, but that there will be some major new changes, perhaps revamped game play. Read The Full Story

Mass Effect Citadel DLC to be split into two downloads for Xbox 360

While PC and PlayStation 3 gamers will be receiving their Citadel DLC in a single file download, for some strange reason, Xbox 360 gamers will have their Citadel DLC split into two separate download packs. Bioware says that the download size of the DLC is too big compared to the previous DLC packs, resulting in the decision to split the file into two downloads. Dark Horse to release new Mass Effect comic series

Dark Horse plans on releasing a new Mass Effect comic series titled, Mass Effect: Foundation. The series will be written by Mac Walters, who also helped write Mass Effect 2, and was the story lead writer for Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect: Foundation is said to feature a strong female character, and that the storyline is going to go back to existing stories in the Mass Effect universe and elaborate on them more. Next Mass Effect game arrives late 2014 to mid-2015, BioWare says [UPDATE: It's fake]

We've officially known that BioWare is working on another Mass Effect game since studio co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk announced their departure, but so far details have been few and far between. Details are still pretty scarce, but we're finding out today that the game will ship in late-2014 at the earliest but possibly as late as mid-2015. That news comes from a GamerSyndrome interview with a BioWare employee, who remained anonymous until Eurogamer was told by EA that it was Mass Effect 3 producer Mike Gamble doing the talking. Black Ops II PC discs surprise players with Mass Effect 2 data

Well this is something of a hairy situation: we're getting reports that claim some Black Ops II PC discs actually contain data for Mass Effect 2 instead of, you know, the game advertised on the front of the box. One Redditor has compiled a list of links that all lead to complaints of these Mass Effect 2 discs in disguise, and YouTube zeroiez has captured the rather confusing mix up on video for the whole world to see. Speaking of the iPad mini, Apple confirmed today that the LTE iPad minis should be shipping out in the next five days, and the company announced that it will be donating $2.5 million to the Hurricane Sandy recovery effort on behalf of its employees. Mass Effect 3 new ending hits June 26

The brand new ending for the game Mass Effect 3 demanded by fans across the world has officially been announced for release for June 26. Controversy surrounded the original ending of the game when disturbed gamers found that a whole lot of what they'd been hoping to learn about the story's ending was not answered by the time the final credits rolled and because no matter what they did during the game, the ending was essentially the same. Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenges finally approved for PS3

After months of injustice, the same online multiplayer challenges that Mass Effect 3 players on the Xbox 360 and PC have been taking for granted are now confirmed for the PS3. BioWare recently confirmed that it was because of Sony, not BioWare, that these online challenges were not being offered through the PlayStation Network. Sony responded to say it was looking into figuring out a solution.
