Marvel’s Luke Cage makes Netflix debut in September

Things are heating up on Netflix, at least as far as Marvel content is concerned. This past November, Netflix debuted Jessica Jones, and the show proved popular enough that Netflix went ahead and renewed it for a second season (which wasn’t in the original plans). The video service is still going ahead with the standalone Luke Cage show, of course, which is set to debut this upcoming September.

The Marvel Comics character Deadpool is running for "El Presidente" to be more specific, complete with his own SuperPac. Announced this afternoon by Fox is the fact that Deadpool (a fictional character, we must remind you) is "officially exploring a run for President. They've suggested that a SuperPac is also now in effect under the name "Weapon X-ers for Progress." They suggest that this SuperPac is "totally unaffiliated with Mr. Pool - as is often the case with SuperPacs and the candidates they support.

Deadpool’s tiniest Easter Egg

Deadpool’s tiniest Easter Egg

Film producer Aditya Sood revealed a tidbit of a connection between two of the movies he's worked on very recently: The Martian and Deadpool. At a press event for the home format release (DVD, Blu-ray, digital) of The Martian, Sood was asked about the long-awaited Marvel Comics title Deadpool. What were the differences between getting a little-known book (pre-big-publisher) turned into a major motion picture, and Deadpool, a film that's been notorious in its pre-production time - years and years and years on deck or below it? Sood answered indirectly.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange: first Cumberbatch image published

We found out last December that Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor perhaps best associated with his role as Sherlock Holmes, will be playing Doctor Strange in Marvel's upcoming movie by the same name. What you're about to witness is a trailer that might change your mind about X-Men Apocalypse if you'd felt sour to the idea before. Not just because the main bad guy is a Power Ranger villain. He wasn't just made by Rita Repulsa.

The first Capt. America: Civil War trailer is finally here

Another Marvel superhero film once uttered what is probably now the most overused and cliché aphorism about power and responsibility. Though it might have been a different cinematic universe, that idea will once again be put under the microscope in the third Captain America film, "Civil War". Now the first full trailer for the film is finally out, we basically get to see where the line is drawn and who stands where. Well, almost. It seems almost too clear cut to be the whole truth, meaning we do expect some plot twists along the way.

Watch Deadpool spend Halloween trolling a bunch of kids

As the role of Deadpool was made for Ryan Reynolds and the suit was cut for him specifically, the actor takes many opportunities to wear it. To wear the skin of the comic book character, figuratively. Or literally, we don't really know, but we're guessing. In the video you're about to see, "How Deadpool Spent Halloween," you're going to see Deadpool speaking with a bunch of kids dressed up like the X-Men, and subsequently swearing at them several times.
