Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer 2: closer to truth

This week another Guardians of the Galaxy trailer has been released with cuts far closer to what the final film will look like than the first couple of glimpses we got earlier this year. As you’ll see below, these changes are mostly in the background - when Djimon Hounsou (aka Korath the Pursuer) steps forth to dismiss Chris Pratt’s character Star-Lord’s claim to fame, it’s no longer a cloudy day. Instead they’re standing inside a collection of structures, massive and ancient.

X-MEN: Days of Future Past full trailer sends Wolverine back

The first full trailer for X-MEN: Days of Future Past doesn't exactly send Wolverine back to the store - he's not expired, after all - instead it sends him back through time. Instead of fighting the Nazis, Captain America will be fighting new arch-nemesis, just like the rest of the super heroes.

Star Wars TV show a possibility as Lucasfilm chats with ABC

Now that Disney owns both Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm (and Star Wars therein), the company has begun taking liberties with its wares, speaking this week with ABC about the possibility of a Star Wars-themed television show. This is hardly unprecedented, as the Marvel Comics television adaptation of the secret organization behind The Avengers hit the airwaves earlier this year in a show called Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., also with ABC. There's also a cartoon delivery vehicle for Star Wars in The Clone Wars, a show broadcast through Cartoon Network.
