It’s a huge curved monitor that has an iMac Built in. That’s not all; there is a secondary display on the back. Have I mentioned this thing looks amazing?
There is some indication in some Apple MacBook Air patents that they are looking to up the number of ports on the notebook from 4 to 7-8. One of the ports includes and integrated Ethernet adapter.
This is the final half of my review of the Axiotron ModBook, sadly I am shipping it out, back to them, tomorrow. I must first say that I have surely fallen in love with the MacBook and OS X as a result of this review as I’d never used either prior to this review.
It has a 1.86GHz Intel dual core mobile processor (its model number is T2130 which signifies a new Core 2 Duo chip, but it could be the older Pentium D chips). It also has a half gig of RAM, 120GB HDD, a DVD Burner, gigabit Ethernet and more.
The wait is over! I know many of you have held off purchasing Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro because of the updates rumor. Well, it happened. Apple refreshed MacBook and MacBook Pro with Intel’s latest Penryn CPU. Apple also added Multi-touch trackpad to MacBook Pro - it was first introduced in MacBook Air.
So we all know that Apple hasn’t updated their precious MacBook Pro line in quite sometime, nor have they updated their MacBooks any time recently, so updates for both are likely on their way. The catch is, whatever processor/graphics/FSB the MacBook Pros are using/have usually gets passed on to the iMacs.
The team over at Engadget HQ have managed to get their hands on an Optimus Maximus keyboard presumably for review purposes. They’ve made an attempt to enlighten us to some facts we may or may not like to here so we may be able to make better purchase decisions.
