Microsot's IFA 2014 event is just a day away, so naturally we are still getting last minute leaks and rumors about devices. The other day, it was the "selfie" Lumia 730 but now it's the Lumia 830's turn. While this supposed actual device does seem to confirm its PureView heritage, it does disprove earlier rumors of a more Microsoft-friendly branding.
Just counting down days to IFA 2014, Microsoft once again lets out a teaser to remind the tech world that not just Android phones but a Lumia one will be coming as well. And, just as some recent digital camera makers have been trying lately, the Lumia 730 seems to be designed to pander to one growing niche: the obsessive selfie photographer.
You might have had your fill about Android devices or smartwatches scheduled to debut at IFA 2014 next week, but Microsoft may have a few things to reveal there as well. The Nokia Lumia 635 takes everything that made the Nokia Lumia 520 a winner and gives it a boost. It remains one of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 devices, now coming with Windows Phone 8.1 and the newest Nokia software, along with a look and feel that creates a powerful value proposal. Should you just buy last year’s model on sale, or do you want this improved breadwinner?
