Logitech have announced a Mac-version of their super-skinny wireless keyboard.  The Logitech diNovo Keyboard Mac Edition has the same 0.87-inch depth, 3.2mm key travel and high-gloss, semi-transparent plexiglass casing (with brushed aluminum palm-rest), but Mac-specific keys including Mail, Safari, iTunes, Exposé, Cover Flow, Dashboard, QuickLook and Spaces shortcuts.

Logitech have set out to show Starpex that they’re not the only people who can make a more realistic, wooden controller for Guitar Hero, with the launch of their Premiere Edition Wireless Guitar.  Licenced by Guitar Hero publisher Activision, the controller has a wooden neck, a rosewood fingerboard and metal frets and tuners.  Integrated 2.4GHz wireless gives it a 30ft range.

We don’t cover universal remotes all that often here on SlashGear, but this one is definitely worth noting. Logitech released the Harmony 510 today, which–while entry-level–sports numerous features and brings a cool design to a wider consumer market.

Logitech announced their Z-5 omnidirectional speakers yesterday and the company is calling the product a real evolution in PC speakers. By using omnidirectional acoustics, these speakers sound good from many more vantage points, not just straight in front of the computer.

Logitech have announced their thinnest ever wired keyboard, the blandly-named Illuminated Keyboard at just 9.3mm deep.  As the title suggests, the keys are all backlit; they also use Logitech’s PerfectStroke technology, so even though there’s minimal depth there should still be reasonable typing feel.

Logitech have introduced the Squeezebox Boom, in effect the company’s Squeezebox network music player with built-in amplification and speakers.  Setup is straightforward – plug into the mains, enter your WiFi password – and then you have the pleasure of bi-amped 3-inch woofers and 3/4-inch tweeters (with a 24-bit Burr Brown D/A converter behind the scenes) to enjoy either music stored elsewhere on your network or streaming from Rhapsody, Last.FM, Slacker, Pandora and Sirius.

wiiwheelLogitech has announced the new Logitech Speed Force Wireless racing wheel for the Wii. The wheel will be the first force feedback wheel for the Wii and is designed to work with EA Games Need for Speed Undercover.

The Speed Force Wireless racing wheel has a once-piece design with built-in gas and brake controls located on the wheel itself. The wheel has an expandable lap rest so you can adjust the wheel for how you like to play your games. The wheel uses 2.4 GHz wireless technology to allow to gaming up to 30 feet away from the actual Wii console.

Logitech have announced their second generation Cordless Desktop Wave Pro keyboard, with a curved profile that the company suggests has many of the benefits of a split ergonomic keyboard but without requiring users to relearn how to type.  It’s been paired with the Logitech MX1100 cordless mouse that has up to 1,600dpi resolution and eight programmable buttons.
