Switch Lighting introduces liquid cooled LED bulbs

Switch Lighting is introducing a new line of LED lightbulbs today that offers tweaks to conventional LED bulb design. The design makes use of liquid cooling instead of solely relying on the heatsink at the bottom of the bulb. The company plans to introduce three new bulbs to replace incandescent options, with wattage ranging from 40 to 75. Prices are expected to be between $40 and $50. Read The Full Story

Corsair unveils Hydro Series H70 Core liquid cooling system for CPUs

Corsair announced a few new liquid cooling systems this week and one of the new offerings is the Hydro Series H70 Core CPU cooler. This is one of the small radiator devices that only cools the CPU and has a self-contained system that needs no maintenance. The difference in the Core system and the other H70 device is that the Core version has no fan for the radiator allowing the user to buy the fan based on their needs. Read The Full Story

Overclocked 2008 Mac Pro gets custom liquid-cooling [Video]

Apple's Mac Pro is a beast of a machine, and more so when you overclock it, but the fan noise you end up with can be pretty intrusive.  The guys over at Asetek decided to see what they could do with their liquid-cooling components, taking a 2008 dual-CPU 2.8GHz Mac Pro - overclocked to 3.16GHz - with custom cooling and comparing it to a newer, stock 3.2GHz air-cooled model straight from Apple. Corsair Launches Hydro H70 CPU cooler
