The awards are based on each vehicle's performance in crash tests, with the goal being to encourage safer vehicles. Lincoln MKC Concept looks to crossover to rescue brand

Lincoln isn't relying solely on a name change to turn around its fortunes; the car company has whipped the wraps off of its new MKC Concept, a compact luxury crossover it hopes will find it some buyers in the premium SUV category. Rhapsody comes to Ford and Lincoln vehicles through SYNC AppLink

While we've got all sorts of cool little gadgets to check out here at CES, a number of car manufacturers are also showing off whats new with their vehicles. One of these car manufacturers is Ford, which today announced that Rhapsody will soon be available in Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC AppLink. Lincoln MKC compact crossover tipped for Detroit Auto Show 2013

The next generation Ford Lincoln MKC compact crossover vehicle has been tipped to be appearing for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show 2013. This vehicle has been said to be appearing by the Detroit Bureau where they're confident that this downsized crossover-utility vehicle will be one of many similar vehicles to be showing their face for the first time officially. The MKC has been said to be sharing many features with the Ford Escape (as pictured below) save for many luxury features that've been cut out to make this machine more affordable for the mass market. Ford announces first-ever Lincoln Super Bowl commercial

This morning, we reported that Ford had changed the name of Lincoln to the Lincoln Motor Company in an effort to revive its luxury division and set it aside as a unique brand. Now, furthering this goal, the company has announced that a Lincoln advertisement is slated to appear during the 2013 Super Bowl on February 3. This is the first Lincoln Super Bowl commercial ever. Lincoln MKZ Hybrid EPA rated at 45 mpg combined

Luxury car buyers looking for a hybrid vehicle might want to check out the new 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The EPA recently issued its official fuel efficiency numbers for the 2013 MKZ Hybrid rating the car for 45 mpg in the city, 45 mpg on the highway, and 45 mpg combined. Lincoln brags that its hybrid delivers five mpg better efficiency in the city and combined as the more expensive Lexus ES Hybrid. Read The Full Story
