LG working on quad-core smartphone with 10MP camera

LG may just have launched the Optimux 4X HD, but it trailed behind the launches of the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III. The European versions of those phones featured quad-core processors and 8-megapixel cameras just like the 4X HD, but arguably had better construction and software customizations. The company isn’t satisfied, with LG’s chairman and co-CEO Koo Bon-moo planning a new phone that will feature a 10-megapixel camera. Read The Full Story

LG details Optimus UI 3.0 for ICS phones

LG has today announced the introduction of its new user interface for LG Optimus phones running Ice Cream Sandwich. Optimus UI 3.0 will feature major modifications to the stock Android experience, offering similar features to what you might find with Sense and TouchWiz but with LG’s unique twists. LG Optimus 4X HD priced and dated

LG only revealed the Optimus 4X HD officially at Mobile World Congress this week, and already the quadcore Tegra 3 smartphone has been priced and dated for the UK. The handset will be priced at £380 ($602) pre-tax and subsidies, according to retailer Clove, and is expected to be in stock come June. However, there's bad news for lovers of glasses-free 3D, with word that the UK won't be getting LG's Optimus 3D Max. This week the folks at LG have revealed and we've gotten our hands on the next generation of LG Optimus device, the LG Optimus 4X. This smartphone takes the first-in-class Optimus 2X dual-core processor and amps it up with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core SoC with 4-PLUS-1 technology. LG Optimus 4X HD revealed and detailed with NVIDIA Tegra 3

This week LG Electronics have released information on their first NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor toting smartphone, the LG Optimus 4X HD. This device follows up on the world’s first dual-core device, the LG Optimus 2X, and comes with everything from HD video playback to a high efficiency battery. This smartphone has a massive 4.7-inch display, 8.9mm thickness across the whole device, and a super-thin bezel around the screen – and of course, the NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor.
