Lenovo A740 27-inch all-in-one PC hailed as thinnest in class

Among the all-in-one PCs Lenovo has debuted here at CES, the A740 stands out due to its large display size. Measuring in at 27-inches, this model is the thinnest in its class at 4mm in thickness. Design was of particular importance with the A740, with Lenovo calling it "fashion forward" with a single-piece aluminum backing that runs down into the stand portion of the unit. Lenovo has rolled out the red carpet for its ThinkPad X1 Carbon, an offering it says is the thinnest 14-inch ultrabook available. Saying it is a "beautiful contradition," the X1 Carbon is designed to be nearly indestructible, and yet is very thin and weighs only 2.8 pounds.
