Among the various smartphones, laptops, and all-in-one PCs the company has planned to revealed at CES this week, Lenovo has introduced two new displays: the ThinkVision 28 and the ThinkVision Pro2840m. The most notable aspect of the displays is the standalone Android functionality -- though it isn't something that can replace a home PC, the ThinkVision 28 can be toggled between a smart display and an Android-centric hub of sorts.

LenovoEMC px4-400d NAS packs up to 16TB

LenovoEMC has revealed its latest high-performance NAS, a four-bay backup and media-streaming center targeted at prosumers and small offices. The LenovoEMC px4-400d can store up to 16TB spread across four drives, and runs up to 25-percent faster than its predecessor, the company claims, thanks to a switch to Intel's new 2.13GHz Atom D2701 dualcore processor and 2GB of memory. It also includes a new batch of ports, including USB 3.0, for easier expansion.

Lenovo has rolled out the red carpet for its ThinkPad X1 Carbon, an offering it says is the thinnest 14-inch ultrabook available. Saying it is a "beautiful contradition," the X1 Carbon is designed to be nearly indestructible, and yet is very thin and weighs only 2.8 pounds. As the name suggests, the laptop is constructed from carbon fiber, making it both lighter and stronger than aluminum and magnesium.
