During a news conference earlier today, Lenovo CEO announced that they are forming a joint venture with NEC to focus on increasing sales of personal computers in Japan. Lenovo establishes Mobile Internet & Digital Home team for tablets, phones & more

Lenovo has established a new product group to head tablet and smartphone development, the Lenovo mobile internet and digital home division, which will also look at web-connected home electronics including smart TVs. Lenovo U260 IdeaPad Notebook Review

The following is a review of the black and orange Lenovo U260 IdeaPad Windows 7 notebook – a super-comfortable little businessman made for ultra-stylish checkings of online business and perhaps even the playing of some games. The very first thing you’ll notice about this laptop is that it is a fantastic shade of orange – this is one of two colors it can be, (the other being Mocha,) but that’s not the reason you’ll stick around. Nor is the most comfortable experience I’ve had with a notebook since I first started using MacBooks – use this factoid in your judgement of MY judgement, because it makes me a hard customer to sell when it comes to notebooks outside of the industrial designer brilliance employed by Apple. Note first and foremost that I think Apple’s people should talk to Lenovo’s people here if they ever plan on moving away from hard plastic and flat metal surfaces.

Lenovo has been courting PC modders in the run-up to CES 2011 this week, and some of the results of the "What's Your Idea of Fun?" campaign are pretty striking. Lenovo IdeaPad S205 netbook opts for AMD instead of Atom

Lenovo's second netbook of CES 2011 bypasses Intel's Atom chips and instead looks to AMD for its power, boosting screen size in the process. The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display and AMD dual-core E-350 CPU, along with AMD Radeon HD 6310 512MB discrete graphics.
