Believe it or not, the LEGO came from Denmark, 50 years ago today, and its been a long successful run since then, and they are still going strong. Their products have ranged from random groups of LEGO’s all the way up to specified kits to built the ship from some movie that was just released.

Technically, it can’t be a lightsaber, because that requires licensing from Lucas Arts and blah blah blah buearocratic BS. Anyways, it’s a “Light Sword” that your Wii remote clips into.

There aren’t yet any proper Star Wars games for which to use this sword with, but there is Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Or you could use it with any other games that have some swording action, like the mythical Fencing 2k8 from EA sports, yeah right.

Alright, so Lego Salt and Pepper Shakers are not exactly hi-tech, but they fit into that cool geeky nitch that I enjoy so much. These shakers are enough to turn even the most chic kitchen into a geek one.

If you’ve been reading SlashGear for any amount of time and don’t know by now that I’m a Star Wars nut, then you’re not really paying attention. This fact of course means that I’m getting pretty excited about the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sage game.

I love pretty much everything that is Star Wars. Except Jar Jar Binks of course, but I don’t think anyone really likes him. I also have a love for LEGO’s. In fact, I still have my childhood collection in my closet. Naturally, my favorite sets are those that feature some of the famous ships from the Star Wars universe. I think that if I had a larger place, I would probably have to get this new Millennium Falcon set.

They call it a dock; I would argue that it doesn’t dock with anything. It just connects to the speakers inside the Lego case.

I wonder if you can add real Legos to it? Probably not, but that would be kind of cool, then you could build it into an actual dock, oh well though.

legochiefLego artist Nathan Sawaya is a genius, nearly a god, I encourage you to check out BrickArtist.com, anyways his medium, Legos. Not paint, or clay, Legos.

This time he made a Lego sculpture of Master Chief from the infamous Halo video game. Not only did he make a sculpture of this gaming icon out of Legos, but he did it in time lapse all without instructions or a guide or anything, just laid out a bunch of bricks and started going at it.

The package comes with the clock, and a Chewy and Storm Trooper figurines. The clock itself features a light/snooze button as well as a timer of sorts.

So, you can build an X-wing or something like that to place on top of it, or you could just carefully position the included Storm Trooper and Chewbacca on top and call it done. Regardless, some might recommend you just set this clock on your desk, I say the geeks finally have a Flavor-Flav style clock for them.

So some guy went out and bought BioShock the game, and some sort of Big Daddy Figurine. Next thing he knows his kids are acting like splicers.

So he has been doing his best to keep his children from viewing him playing the game as they are 7 and 5, nevertheless. His 7 year old mad a LEGO scene with a Mr. Bubbles, the little sister and an Adam extractor.

Today’s Video of the Day features one of my favorite childhood toys: LEGOs. Someone decided that they’d make a rubberband gun from these simple building blocks. However, this isn’t your ordinary rubberband gun.
