Shanghai Corporate Pavilion’s Lights Are Controlled by the People Inside

How do you make a huge pavilion awesome? You create the building out of recycled CD cases. So, what can you do to make that better? You attach a huge LED array onto the outside of that said pavilion, and you make it just about as bright as is probably necessary. But of course, you have to do more than that, because then that's just a building with some lights on it. That happens all the time at Christmas. Sharp Quatron 3D LCD HDTVs arriving this summer

Sharp have become the latest HDTV manufacturer to tip their hand with regards a 3D launch, confirming that they will be releasing 3D-capable models this coming summer.  The Sharp Aquos 3D TVs will use the company's new four-primary-color Quatron 3D LCD panels, which are apparently optimized for 3D viewing and is, in fact, 1.8x brighter when viewing 3D content (which requires special glasses) than 2D content. Twitter LED table project mixes Bluetooth, IKEA & awesome

We've a soft-spot for odd Twitter-enabled devices - anything that lets us follow the SlashGear tweets in unusual ways has to be a good thing - and so Macetech's Twitter end-table, which also throws in some multi-color LED action, is proving particularly appealing.  The project builds on their previous LED table, an IKEA coffee table wired up with 81 RGB lights in a 9x9 grid, adding in a Bluetooth Arduino shield for wireless connection to a nearby MacBook Pro.

Samsung SP-F10M 1,000 ANSI LED projector is world’s first

Samsung have announced a new projector, the SP-F10M, which at 1,000 ANSI lumens is the industry's first LED-based projector to hit the 1k mark.  Intended more for business and educational use - though we'd quite like one for the home, just so we don't have to replace bulbs any more - the SP-F10M has a USB port and onboard software that recognizes and plays various common office file types.
